Called CS and finally got through. Points applied and they happily gave me another dickens. CS rep said, "honestly, this is only supposed to be one per house hold, but we have so many, so let me send you another one." Nothing quite like a free dickens on a Friday afternoon.3 points

I said the child's name out loud and my 8 year old son asked if that was a Star Wars character. That's good enough for me to like the new name.3 points

I think the larger middle building and the two slivers on the side will be a really nice variation to all the other buildings. All the other buildings are either a full base plate wide or half base plate wide. So to throw in some quarter base plate wide buildings will give a nice visual variation to the rest of the buildings when they are all shown together. But I agree that as a stand alone, the 1/4 wide buildings feel underwhelming.3 points

I thought the episode was great and I'm excited to see where it goes. I don't care if they are crossing animation with live action.3 points

Don’t like it. Didn’t like the Bookstore either. Corner Garage was okay. I guess it’s been awhile since I’ve really like one of these (Diner).2 points

So I decided to do a little digging and in California there is a legal requirement or fine if you do not.2 points

Some genuine packing excellence for me today, courtesy of Amazon. I just received the Technic Lamborghini Sian I ordered yesterday. It came within a double-walled outer cardboard box (bookended by crush protectors), which was itself wrapped in bubble wrap, surrounded by packing paper, and then within another double-walled cardboard box. I have never seen Amazon package anything so thoroughly.2 points

Take away the figs and police sign and you can’t even tell it’s a police station2 points

Oh it most likely won’t happen but I’m starting to think the community is more creative and imaginative than the LEGO design team at this point. suppose my thought was LEGO could say, we want our next modular to be a police station. Then there is a submission in ideas for say 6 months, let LEGO weed out the bulls**t and then let the community vote for the next 6 months or so. you’re right it will never happen. Just feel like there is so much more that could happen with these sets.2 points

Many people haven't seen the interesting things MOC'd in this botanical category like we have thanks to theorcking. When those folks do see this (and the bonsai), will be amazed at what LEGO is up to. I cant wait to see what the future holds for this theme. I'd like to think some upcoming sets will be prime for getting a bunch of foliage at once for city/country landscapes.1 point
