  1. Shipping is top notch, they are definitely a collectible company. I've been ordering from them 15 years or so.

  7. I know a lot of people rag on these, but I love them. Can't wait to get mine in the mail today. One nitpick, I'm thinking I prefer red with its discs to teal's dots on top.

  18. So not necessarily Lego sets, but Lego related nonetheless! For those that wanted to get some of the Lego Levi's line, there is a really good deal on Levis.com right now... Right now if you use Rakuten you can get 14% back for the next 11 or so hours... If you use codeword: BLUESTREAK you get 40% off your order % free shipping! (usually a super high threshold) Also, they have a ton of the Lego line already discounted so I got a $30 tee shirt for $8 and both bandanas for about $31 total. (also the 14% back) Note: a lot of the cooler stuff is already sold out, but this is the absolute best time to get any of these as they rarely go on sale. Enjoy!

  28. I don’t find them ugly per say. The appeal here is the shear commitment to produce something that mimics nature—to recreate not just flowers, but an arrangement complete with the nuance and thoughtful design. It’s a departure for LEGO. Some will find it jarring and be put off by it while I think others will be fascinated by it.

  29. Agreed. As far as build technique goes, I find them pleasing. As far as aesthetics go, far from pleasing. As someone who enjoys displaying certain Lego sets, I think if I put them out in the form of flowers, my family may think I finally lost it.

  33. That may be true. Easier to empathize with sellers as "life happens" sometimes. I don't believe I've left a negative since a seller claimed their "dad worked for the FBI" then after the return was complete threated to mail me a bag of used marital aids.

  35. If Lego would release their retirement list at the beginning of each year. I'd slowly scoop up all the winners and rejoice I don't have box walls showing up at my home throughout the holidays.

  37. 1. do not order using phone app. 2. order using chrome on a desktop, incognito mode. 3. order a set for instore pickup. see if it goes through. pick it up. 4. then place a combo order for instore pickup and also an item to be shipped to you. once that goes through you should be back up and running. continue ordering what you want to be shipped to you and some other instore crap you may or may not have any intention of picking up. this sounds like bs - i know. this is what has worked for me.

  38. FBM is completely different beast than FBA. If selling is a video game, FBA is like fighting mid level bosses. They are kind of tough but you can predict when they come. On the other hand, FBM is like fighting little peons. They are not that hard but they come in groups, wave after wave after wave. After about 100 of those, you start questioning your choices in life.

  40. Glad to see Jamie is designing in the series again. It always seemed as though he had a vision for the line. The last three have been nice additions, but they dont really go as well with the prior buildings. More so the Dinner & Garage.

  41. Only if you buy crap companies, have extreme bad luck, or day trading. I trade stocks but 90% of my holdings are long term. So much better than reselling Lego, no hassle with buyers / idiots like Toy-Centric, zero shipping concerns, no worries about set refreshes, & no space needed for inventory.
