I had a similar experience with a lot (12 lbs). The short of it is, I claimed I didn't receive what was sent and returned it for full refund. In the lot I could clearly see partially assembled sets: UCS AT-ST - both legs (one missing a foot) the head, hoses, etc. 6211 SD, 6208 B-Wing, 7965 MF - the blue hose was clearly part of the set, the entire base, cockpit, etc. And several other sets. When it arrived, everything had been disassembled. I dumped it out on the carpet and started looking for parts for the UCS AT-ST. None of the technic pieces were there to build the legs. I then began sorting pieces and realized the blue hoses for the MF weren't there. Other sets were missing pieces. I sorted the whole thing onto the floor. Took pictures to show what I had received. I then copied the pics from his auction and used an art program to circle with red pen obviously missing pieces. He offered to discount for 50% for me to keep it. To be honest, all the LBG pieces were badly yellowed. He claimed he sent everything, was very adamant about it. I finally claimed "not as advertised" and sent it back for a full refund. He promptly blocked me from all his future sales which I was fine with after he did what he did. BTW, I weighed the box when I packed it all back up as he sent it to me and it weighed 10 lbs but the shipping label said 12 lbs. 2 lbs were clearly missing.3 points

Darn it, as much as I do not like Disney Star Wars trilogy, this series is actually pretty good. Fans of CW and Rebels will love this latest episode2 points

Well, it is difficult and challenging time (TM)2 points

I don't feel like much of a VIP if they are requiring me to spend $150-$200 for a gift.2 points

that was the worst f'n return on a promo ever. Not sure how a 2nd one was needed and how that would help an already shitty first one.2 points

Give him the chance to make it right. If this guy is a seasoned seller, then I would be more firm that if he just threw his kids stuff up on the Bay to get rid of it. You can probably make an estimated guess what it would take to Bricklink the figures that you're missing and then add a PITA factor for having to deal with this. If he doesn't refund you, it sounds like you have a SNAD case on your hand, unless the description says the lot may be representative of what you'll receive or some similar disclaimer that you see bulk sellers use.2 points

Wait scrap that comment above lol. Lego have now confirmed it on there page. Free Lego Charles Dickens with purchases of over £150 from 21st to 22nd Nov. Free VIP brick set with purchases of over £200 from 21st to 22nd Nov. Double points also on those dates. That seems like a great deal.2 points

Summed it up well! I screamed “no! No! No!” Over and over again last episode. This time I was screaming “yes! Yes! Yes!” So so good!1 point

If you ever wanted to turn your kids off of building LEGO...this is the punishment...uh I mean "gift". (My boy and I were on a tear building the UCS MF...chunks of pages daily...then we got to the greebbling...been sitting on the table incomplete for past 5 months)1 point

Another Thumbs up to LEGO customer Service First; I spoke to someone within a minute of dialing (the Rep said new group of CS employees joined the team) 3 issues; all resolved to my satisfaction 1. I ordered the Wreath and also another large set before realizing to wait till BF promos; so got it cancelled no prob. Rep understood the rationale to wait for BF. (the wreath orders got automatically canceled due to TOOS anyway) 2. Got a VIP cert reversed when it was used on a previous order that got cancelled (also due to TOOS); Rep also confirmed that limits may "Never" get reset but updated based on new limits (which depends on a sets popularity). Can still purchase as many as I want at LEGO stores (B&M). 3. Back during the Batwing glitch, I got double VIP pts but my VIP tally subsequently showed regular pts. She added the points back. to me this was huge..I was ready to make my case w/ a PDF of the screen shot in hand...and she cut me off and said "Sorry for the glitch; I am adding the points back to you". Wow...LEGO, you had me at "I spoke to someone within a minute of dialing"1 point

Was hoping this would be available for the Dicken's and Green Brick promo on 11/21, but with a release date of 11/15, I don't think it will last until then.1 point

dickens promo is best in a while methinks. Would really have gone all out to get a bunch of these this year but 150$ is really a steep ask.1 point

This is very pretty but it reminds me of how much fun Robie House was to build, except times 3.1 point

I'm sure the first batch will sell out and put the set on backorder for the VIP weekend. But... if you order 10274 plus a small other set, then you should get the small set plus the promo's already mailed to you while awaiting new stock on the 10274 set.1 point

It's almost like they don't want us folk buying lol. Amazon limit makes no sense to me, many parents would want 2 of the same item or even 3. Did you hear about aldi and them having the falcon for £59.99. That will surely be a wild goose chase.1 point

this black friday going to be a disaster, amazon limits of 1, lego limits of 3 etc how do you get quantities of anything.. all shops are closed, click and collect limits to 1 per household... ffs1 point

I don't see any problems. The store clearly says that the original LEGO and the official representative, and in the reviews it is also tracked. I have 3 such sets from another store bought for $ 92 and there is no difference at all, even in weight.1 point

That's what I was thinking. It's kind of like a battle pack except it has Mando and the child. Both will end up being worth little.1 point

I put labels and in theory it should be ok. I am just making it easier for whoever opening the packages to tell the difference between these 2 blue boxes vs the other 2 blue boxes with the same size1 point

If it makes sense financially, I'd load up everything that I purchased, that was still in the return period, and haul it back to the local Kohl's. Dispute everything on your credit card on things in which they wouldn't accept. Your stand should be that you would never have made the purchases without the sales incentive of the Kohl's cash. Kohl has broken the contract initiated with you when they sold you the goods. You acted in good faith. I've done this before and I believe that, if everyone that was jerked around by Big Retail would fight back, they wouldn't use their promised incentives to bully buyers/resellers. We are customers too, some of their best.1 point

I figure got to give people at least the day if not the weekend to watch it. I wonder if Chris Rock will be in next week's episode. I just finally cut the cord last week and picked up a year free of Disney+ on the Fios $34.99 internet 200/200 deal.1 point
