It's real, LEGO certified stores are, while authorized by LEGO, handled differently since they are not owned by LEGO.2 points

I was scrolling through ebay and happened to look up the upcoming charles dickens promo, I did find a seller who happened to have 10 of them. Anyway I had a look through some of the items this person was selling and came across this Lego 40416 Ice Skating promo which I haven't seen before. Correct me if I'm wrong but is this a new promo that hasn't been announced yet? Could it be free with purchases alongside the Charles Dickens Promo. Here's a link to the item. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LEGO-40416-Ice-Skating-Rink-2020-Christmas-Brand-New-Sealed/114499606264?hash=item1aa8b556f8:g:~q0AAOSwiEFfov2b1 point

I've been a LEGO reseller for 8 years now and an Amazon/eBay reseller for 10. I'm pretty good about staying off any radar. I've parted out all the Mando sets that I plan to open for my BL store. Every set that I buy now goes in to the hold bin.1 point

should be like all the other years, preview weekend 3 days and then return the following weekend through CM.1 point

There was a different certified store I visited in Seoul that had a nifty promo (like a water bottle or something, I forgot what exactly), you had to buy a membership and be a local to get it.1 point

I have bought online and visited several Brick World stores in Singapore. They have lots of the certified Lego stores, they have their own VIP program, you have to buy a membership to get discounted prices. This is normal for them to have more exclusions then a normal Lego owned store.1 point

So it turned out Amazon uses 2 types of bubble mailers to ship sets. A bigger one for $30 MSRP sets and smaller one for $15-$20 MSRP sets.. YAY!!1 point

@Christine89999 Like @Phil Bsaid, previously sold mini figs being in the used condition seems hard to come by. It maybe a slow seller as he mentions because of this, but if priced right, Im sure it could move quickly as well if thats what you looking to do. Also, it may help if you can find any of the accessories that it originally came with. If not, not worries, but it will effect the overall value. 2 brand new ones sealed sold in May and October for ~$1000+1 point

No, the builds and minifigures change each year. The Harry Potter line only started last year. Check them out on Brickset or Bricklink to see the differences in the inventories.1 point

I gotcha, yes it's very sporadic. As of this post, both of the advent calendars are showing as eligible for the $10 off $50 promo. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B085B24B72/ https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B085B26VXX/1 point

I do like the Christmas promo time. I generally pick up sets for Christmas presents or ones for myself to build that are more exclusive to Lego. I know the promo thing is really pot luck but it does help people to get sets a little cheaper this time of year especially with the lack of sales recently in the uk. The Lego shop especially on Europe seems to be coping fine at the moment with sets. We will obviously see if this changes going forward, let's hope theres enough deals and promos to go round for everyone.1 point

This is something I have wanted to try for a while to help. You should now start seeing a new feature in the sidebar called "Set Trend Tracker" (Work in Progress title, will come up with something more catchy later, maybe like "Brick Tracker???"). What I want to accomplish here is a way for you the member to suggest sets to target for monitoring as far as stock and pricing. There will be another add-on widget to this that will then take the top voted sets and show current tracking information for you to come in and target. Here are a few features You can suggest a set, just click the button, add the set number and name. Admins/Moderators will approve Right now I have it set that each member can vote for 5 sets Every 24 hours, each member can move two of their votes, so if you have filled up your limit of Downtown Diners, then you can move your vote to something else you want to target If sets starts to die off and no one cares to follow some sets, I will disable them to remove them from the list You need to be a good member with some approved posts in order to be able to benefit from it. Over the next few days, another widget will appear to start displaying the tracking information so you can see whats going on with sets you care about the most. As always, I am open to feedback to help make it work more for you.1 point

Not a great comparison. Scooby had a whole line of sets while Flint is a one off. The quality on the Scoob sets was great, the Flint set is just so-so. (Leaving out Dino is ridiculous) I'm guessing Flint gets stuck around 80-90 for a while.1 point
