  1. Went to Yosemite on Saturday. Here's of pic of me and the kids in Yosemite Valley with El Capitan on the left and Half Dome all the way in the back. I haven't been back in 20+ years and it was our kids' first time. We had a great time hiking a few trails. The air quality wasn't great, but it wasn't too bad either. We also got to see a couple of bears (from far away), and one even climbed up a tree! We were surprised at how fast and easy it did it.

  2. Star Wars Preorder, looks like you can add to cart and then adjust quantity once in the cart. https://www.amazon.com/stores/StarWars/LEGO_Toys/page/9C8C1FB3-00C7-4B39-9589-404B1D6012A6?productGridPageIndex=3

  3. LOL...you kill me with posts like this, particularly in a year where post-EOL windfalls have been a dime a dozen.

  4. Great picture. We were there in 2016. We've spent the last 7-8 years traveling to quite a few of the US National Parks. Such a beautiful country.

  7. This is the wrong thread for this, but I don't think Lego added runs on Bespin. They were all produced 24-28th week of 2020 (June-July) and weren't released until August. Even the late shipping ones from Lego were 28R0s.

  8. with 77906 being walmart "exclusive", 77907 being target, I think this time it may be Amazon's turn. still we don't know how "exclusive" this set is going to be, we shall see in the coming days.

  9. She may have ordered this item and then eBay sent an email saying it was no longer available if she had it in a watch list. I've had this happen when I've bought some things before, and I just think to myself "no kidding it's no longer available, I bought it." I would ask if she could request to cancel the order if it hasn't shipped yet. If not, I would ask her to be patient until the item reaches her and then you can proceed with other options. You may want her to send you this email she got or to at least hold onto it. Ideally I would try to get her to call eBay and say she was confused and see if they don't comp her since she is a new buyer.

  10. And for in store purchases > $40 they throw in Creator build your own vehicles polybag 30549. Both promos run Oct 15-25 so may be available when 1989 Batwing becomes available on Oct 21 (double points ends Oct 20 coincidentally!).

  12. If you try to go to the product page, which goes to a 404, this is part of the URL: "LEGO-6321243". If you google "LEGO 6321243", you'll see that 6321243 is the unique ID for the frigate set according to Brickset.

  13. Materials guide for LEGO selling & shipping Many members have asked for a centralized place where they can go for shipping box information. I'm going to pin this post and update it as new information is provided. I just want to take a few minutes and thank those who wrote the following articles. They are still very good reference materials for the LEGO storage and shipping process. I may develop this into a blog article eventually. 14. The main Daily Deal thread that has been here for so long is without a doubt dominated by US deals and discounts. Canada pokes in there from time to time and then of course an occasional deal from a European region makes it's way in there. Obviously this does not really work well for non US regions and we want to try and fix this. This thread here will become the go to place to post deals for the UK, European countries and for now, just about anywhere else until we see the need to give a region another thread if it takes off. We completely understand that it would have been futile or intimidating to throw bits of information for German deals in a US dominated thread and we think will allow all of our Non US members to benefit from each other's discount and deal knowledge. We will do our best to get deal alerts in this thread as much as possible. We hope this becomes as successful as the other thread for everyone.

  15. Also in the same picture is a yellow corner wall piece that only came with 3 sets. 6259, 6276 and 1795... from the age of the other sets in the box I would guess either 6259 or 6276, with 6276 being the one you hope for.

  18. Because, I can't seem to plan my purchases well over time and I likely missed when it was on sale in prior years. Now, I buy at the last minute before it is gone and as expected this is not conducive of any great deal at all. I am convincing myself that it is better to have less profit than no profit at all.

  29. There is a big difference between a person that just sells Lego strictly for profit and someone that sells mainly to support their habit/hobby. Before I was a member in here I was a very active member of another well known Lego group. Unfortunatly me posting pictures of massive hauls and selling to support my hobby had me on the wrong side of public opinion and thats when I was directed to this community. We have all types of members here which is good. Do I think Lego investing has changed in the last 12 years....sure it has. Lego is aware of it and reselling has helped grow the company. Thats why it trys to have its cake and eat it to. I still say the best way to enjoy this hobby is to have your Lego funds totally separate from your living funds. As in anything dont spend what you cant afford and buy sets that you wont mind having even if they dont sell.

  30. I went golfing with the guys yesterday. Played ok/sorta but I really need to a lot play more. Not much better than Fall golf with some beers. The extended Summer season is winding down so we stopped to eat. We sat outside which was great overlooking the harbor but the dredge had arrived this week and was hard at work. Every once in awhile you'd get a nice whiff when the wind changed direction.

  32. For the members who are fairly new and dont' know this forum.. most of the longtime members here have provided fairly honest information. There really isn't much of the bs trying to hurt the competition here. From sharing codes/coupons for shipping materials, dealing with SNAD cases from ebay, walmart clearance, dealing with scammers, all the information I have received from posts or PMs have been immensely useful. For those who feel this forum is full of arrogant false spewing info, they should just go to another forum... my two cents... Also redcell is a koolkat!
