  1. The irony of someone posting under the name captain obvious being so obtuse is just fantastic.

  3. SAH’s Only Fans page. For the best brick built soft core content. $5 gets you a leaked pic $10 gets you GWP info $20 gets you a preorder link $50 gets you a private video clip of another picker swearing this set will be “the one.” $100 gets a cloned version of yourself shouting at you for 30 seconds about how stupid your decision was. $1000 gets you the ban hammer and unlimited calls to CS where you get to beg and plead to a roving cast of reps from different countries.

  8. Tough crowd. The old man taught me to always accept gifts and advice from people. Might not always be what you’re looking for, but if you say NO once, they may never offer again- and the next time, may be exactly what you want. This my friend, is pretty obvious...

  10. I think I had something else years ago. But when I became a mod, as a newbie I got stuck cleaning up some messy threads. So the janitor has stuck. Couldn’t imagine changing it now. Hell, I still do clean ups of old threads when the mood strikes me. I’m sure I’m the only one that notices, too. Lol I met ex at Star Wars Celebration years ago. Let’s just say his avatar fits him.

  15. I like robots, Doctor Who, and Lego plus one day I really felt like I should have an avatar on here so I grabbed some stuff off the shelf. Given how often I can't remember what your username refers to, maybe go with this: Or this, because it's what I think of when I think of Dan Marino.

  16. Starting to see the price drop at Amazon for the Tree House 21318, now at $189.99. https://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B07PX3WW5N/ref=dp_olp_all_mbc?ie=UTF8&condition=all Amazon has over a 1000 in stock so I am wondering if this is going to be discounted on Prime Day?

  20. Has been reported before and has been in stock and at $40 for at least the last 2-3 months. Still a great deal, especially since its sister box (10717) is the same except the 4 plates (so smaller at 1500 vs 1504 pieces) but goes for more.

  21. Bought this lot off of OfferUp for $60 because I noticed a "Buckingham Palace" tile in one of the bags in the picture. It ended up being Buckingham Palace, The Louvre, White House (original), and Flintstones set... all 100% complete, without instructions.

  25. Throwing this back up I'm in the market for one and hoping to get (steal) some ideas...I am really surprised how much of an impression a member's avatar has in my perception of the person...some always seems mad or angry...goofy...jokester...always serious...but even at a deeper level...some seem more trust worthy while some seem dishonest...I don't mean to but I've been on the boards enough to know many by their history of posts..and many avatars seem to rep them accurately.

  26. It's okay if it's 200+ year old history, right? That seems to be the threshold. Edit: I guess more like 150ish year old history, given the western stuff.

  27. I think it would be an awesome set, but I'm surprised that it would even be considered at all with the politically correct/woke attitudes as of late. I mean, it's not like nice things happened there. LOL

  31. Try and buy it. Unlike other online stores, Amazon will not let you pay for the items if their limit is still in place

  32. Yes, buying this set would be the biggest waste of your money. It is certain to be a set that is loved/collected by no-one. If you do buy it, even the stupid people will call you a moron.

  38. walmart has a new exclusive giant brick box - 1500 piece set instore and online for $39.99. msrp is $69.99. https://www.walmart.com/ip/LEGO-Classic-Bricks-Bricks-Plates-11717-Building-Toy-Great-Gift-for-Kids-Imaginative-Creative-Educational-Play-1504-Pieces/728689474 i like this box over previous larger piece classic sets because the shape is similar to the hogwarts castle or other $99 msrp size boxes. the set was just released so not going anywhere. maybe it gets down to $30-35 for black friday/cybermonday. something to watch as these usually do very well once they are EOL.
