This might be a good and relevant offer for us: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01K0Z9QYK 6 rolls of commercial packing tape for $11.59, plus a $10 credit (doesn't show, but I got a "claim your credit" email with my order confirmation).3 points

Sold a 21131 Minecraft Ice Spikes set for $193.51. Gotta love the gold mine that is minecraft sets.2 points

the original submission was a lego rendition of a vintage toy which i still have. the actual set is a watered down facade which will check the minifigure boxes and won't break bank . whereas i would have bought the submitted modular hinge closing set, the actual one being put on sale is weak . like mathew i wonder if sesame street has much cultural relevance even though hbo paid for exclusive rights. seems like the air went out of the tires after the kevin clash fiasco.1 point

As someone argued elsewhere, its target are kids to play with it. Most parents won't be paying for a 200 Dollars/Euros set to let their Sesame Street aged kids play with. So the move by LEGO to simplify it and make it more affordable, will be very effective to sell more sets. Definitely a lot more than the original submission would sell. On the other hand, this is not what the 10k voters for the Ideas submission voted for ...1 point

That's cool. It does show on the page that: Spend $10 on small business, save $10 on Prime Day Valid for Prime Members only. Prime members: Purchase $10 of select small business products between September 28, 2020 and October 12, 2020 and earn a $10 credit to use on Prime Day.1 point

Or just customize, using 1 & half of another one as a cap. The long game board box tends to get damaged easily (too long, and a bit flimsy).1 point

Yes, and the 16x14x3 and the 14x12x3 along with the Regional B boxes are what I use to send out the vast majority of mid-sized sets. Gets trickery when you’re dealing with sets that are 18” to 22” long. Then you generally have to purchase a 20x12x4 or 24x 12x4 box or bit the flat rate bullet and ship it in the game board box for $18+1 point

I just checked out the image on instagram and... It's awesome, I never expected it to be a modular plus a bunch of original figures, you've got to find a balance of affordability for people. Most of the action of the show takes place on the street anyways.1 point

Got an email from Shop Your Way saying that they've partnered with Raise gift cards and are giving away 10,000 points toward a new gift card. This works out to $10. Glanced at the stores--B&N, Walmart, Lowes, etc. Might check your spam folder to see if you got the email or log into your Shop Your Way account.1 point

I've had some decent luck purchasing boxes from Amazon Warehouse for in "like-New" or "Used" for significant savings. Generally, the outer box in a lot of 10-25 shows damage and the rest are solid.1 point

Built Ninjago City 70620 for $650. With the speculation it may be resurrected, decided to sell. Buyer could have bought a new set for a little but more, but buying for kids to play and don’t want to spend the time building. Haha. Local sales.1 point

I bought a UCS AT-ST and a few other sets from a lady four years ago. Her sons had more Lego (no mention of what sets) at the time but didn’t want to sell them yet. I told her to keep my number handy when her sons decide they’re ready to sell. Out of nowhere, she reached out to me this weekend asking if the phone number still belongs to me, and that her sons are ready to sell more Lego. She sent me four pictures. The first two were meh, but the last two were… I didn’t get them for a song as her sons checked eBay for market value. I don’t know how they came up to these numbers, but they asked $300 for Café Corner and $200 each for Green Grocer, Town Hall, Fire Brigade, and Grand Emporium. I ended up talking them down to $1020 for all five. I’m in the middle of washing the pieces, but from what I can tell so far, most, if not all, of the pieces are there along with the minifigures. Even though I’m not into modulars, it’s kind of exciting seeing Green Grocer and Café Corner in my possession. I have sealed sets of the others, so the rest don’t do much for me.1 point

Yup. When I looked at the price on TRU, I’ll take my money to Masterminds. Sadly I think not much deal to have this holiday season0 points

Two scam attempts on my 70620 listings today. Hijacked accounts, pp caught both thankfully. Be careful if selling this one on ebay.0 points
