I just received my biggest bricklink order (size wise). It's 3500+ pieces in 252 unique lots. I have no clue where to start to check that everything I ordered is there. I know...first world problems.4 points

May I ask for your kind support of a fellow brick lover's new LEGO IDEAS submission called "Basement & Sewerage" - the first-ever underground extension for 32x32 Modular Buildings: https://ideas.lego.com/content/project/link/d5c2a435-8082-40f6-a76c-697b14ae7317 (You might have to copy&paste the link, for some reason clicking it doesn't work for me, no matter what I try to re-format.) Thanks a lot in advance for your support! Feedback on the idea and build are also welcome!3 points

I fell victim to the illusion of plenitude. But I did buy 10 of the Obi Wan today on SAH, so perhaps I will be on the wrong side of that plenitude. Either way, there is plenitude plenitude to go around. Plenitude.3 points

I'm still stunned that mine sold for $225 when these went out of stock in April. Y'all may laugh since this set has been around for 9 years, but it's still a sleeper for an easy double up when it finally ends its unprecedented run.2 points

I personally find that printing out the order page, and then just picking each lot into a separate plastic resealable bag, highlighting the picked lot once complete, repeat until all lots picked, then highlighting the total lots at bottom of order page.1 point

Seller Fees are the same. You *may* get charged sales tax on BrickLink Even if not in same state. I find check out easier on BrickOwl... so if all is the same I would personally choose BrickOwl to make purchase hth1 point

amazon buybox at $115 and then it gets up to $130 pretty quickly. sometimes its just this easy . and the hard part is having the courage to listen to your instinct and order dozens while they are available and not fall victim to the illusion of plenitude.1 point

Me: So excited to receive the new Diagon Alley set, I am so looking forward to surprising the family! Family: That's nice, but maybe you should just wait to see if it sells over the holidays. Me:1 point

This set is going to be a winner when it retires. Iconic scene? Check. Beloved and highly regarded film? Check. Aesthetically pleasing and mobile design? Check. Lots of first-time minifigures? Check. Yeah, calling it now.1 point

Is there a thread where we have Happy stories to share about customers on eBay? I recently sold a LEGO 71042 Silent Mary Brand New for $350 Free shipping($50). I removed my old email address for eBay payments and also removed it from Paypal. Apparently eBay added it automatically back and set it as primary so when the buyer pays he sends it to an email address not associated with my Paypal. Buyer was SUPER nice and called eBay TWICE to try to resolve issue. After I call twice, I finally get the funds albeit on hold. This whole time while I am messaging with buyer, (super nice cause we both respond SUPER fast, we literally each sent 6 messages to each other in ONE day) trying to figure out what the problem is because we hadn't yet figured it out, the buyer keeps saying to add more shipping padding to keep the set intact. I shrink wrapped the set and added corner protectors. Taped down side protectors with packing paper and then packed the whole thing with more packing paper. 2 days later the set arrives, and earlier I told the buyer to send me pics because I was genuinely curious how my packages arrive. While the set had no damage to corners, the sides had gotten crushed. The buyer asks for $40 refund so he can buy a replacement box because he is a MINTY guy, and I know that LEGO boxes DO cost that much. He also offers a full refund where I pay return shipping. Obviously, I give him the refund, instead of paying $50 to get set back and probably even more damaged. Normally I don't like handing out refunds, but the buyer was patient and respectful through the WHOLE process. The buying was $160 from Amazon, but the ACTUAL copy of the set might be the one I got from lego.com. I had around $97.00 in profit so after $40.00 refund I am down to $57.00. Not amazing, but it felt right. Well, there's my story!0 points

Buyer now alleging damage to the box. Sent zoomed in photo of the box with heavy crush damage. I asked for pictures of shipping box and a tiny crease mark. She's pressuring me into sending a return label for 'item defective' rather than damage in transit. Don't know what she's trying to pull but won't send me full photographic evidence for me to commence a claim with the mail carrier.0 points
