So I ordered the Diagon Alley set right at midnight the first time it went up for sale. But apparently it went available on the website a few minutes before midnight. And that is when I ordered mine. Because of this the Hagrid promo gift was not included. Apparently the GWP didn't kick in until exactly midnight. So I sent Lego an email to ask if they could include the GWP with my order. I wanted to share their response because I thought it was clever. Response below: Dear LEGO® fan, Thanks for your recent order! Honesty, it’s the last LEGO set in a LONG time that I really, really anticipated building. The last ones w/ this level of excitement were probably the UCS Sandcrawler, Monster Fighters Haunted House, & Indiana Jones sets

Just by looking at the history of Lego Ideas sets. 21311 Voltron was released in Aug 2018 and retired Dec 2019. 21310 OFS was released in Sept 2017 and retired Dec 2018. History tells you that an Ideas set released in Sept of one year retires in Dec of the next year. The only exception I can think of is Saturn V... but Central Perk is no Saturn V.

The beatles said they were bigger than Jesus, didn't affect there ideas set. Doubt any lego collectors will care about the JK controversy, end of the day they are great lego sets.

I care about that stuff. You have to remove the art from the artist. Otherwise there is not much to enjoy out there if you dig deep enough.

Hate to add to this in the Daily Deals thread, but I ordered 3 Olafs as well, but they came in a box. So, there's probably no rhyme or reason for what qualifies as box vs bubble mailer. Even still, the Olafs were all smooshed, even in a ridiculously oversized 24x14x4 box (that wasn't smooshed).
