I received orders from both Kohl's and Best Buy this week, both of which were shipped in...shipping boxes! I feel like I should buy a lottery ticket.3 points

So my boy and I finally finished watching (1st time) all 7 seasons of Clone Wars a week ago. We are in the middle of Rebels Season 1...when Ahsoka and Darth Vader 1st reveals. Our plan is to finish Rebels and move on to Resistance. assuming that's a sound plan...what books fill in some of the inbetween plot lines and character development? I have been confuse about all the books (I don't intend to get into the video games). I did read the Ahsoka book which was nice. What are the key books that fans find "essential"? Thanks for any suggestions.1 point

My understanding is this copyright issue only affect Europe, not USA. This will create an interesting reselling issue if they have one box for USA and another for Europe. But which will become more valuable over time? The USA title is more desirable but will the Europe version be more rare?1 point

From the popularity heights they achieved from the recent justice league Batman(Ben) and even our beloved LEGO Batman(Will). I know Ben retired from Batman but This feels like the're taking it in the wrong direction. Granted there has always been multiple Batman takes. But Lets just get a replacement for Ben a get that Legion of Doom movie rollin'1 point

WOw..that 2 minute trailer was waaay better than the entire 2 hour movie...did they literally cut out ALL of the best parts? that said...they seriously need to dub Will Arnett's batman voice over for batman.1 point

I saw the first 5 minutes of the theatrical cut and never finished it. This looks better:1 point

They don't look like new figures to me either. Still, for the Vader bust Lego only made like 40,000( I think) so if its that limited that's enough for me. But if its like the talk on the sdcc Wonder Woman set, a few think with the back order system they will make enough to meet demand. then Bespin duel is just an ok set( for resale). IMO1 point

Until you realize that the bottom half of the 60 pound lot is made up of roughly 50% LEGO, 30% cat hair, 15% dirt, and 5% dead bugs. Then it becomes a little less enjoyable. I also love the treasure hunt of going through bulk to seeing what's there, but I've found that I just don't have the time for it right now. I need to start working on shape recognition with my 2-year-old related to rarer pieces that are only in a few sets.1 point

The carbon freeze chamber is far away, and on a different floor than this location. That would push it back toward being another playset as opposed to a display piece.1 point

I didn't want to open up a discussion on Disney's financials on the Retiring soon forum. The point is that they will take any stream of income due to the current circumstances, therefore I'm speculating that the Disney Theme Legos may last longer than expected.1 point
-
All of their 2020 movies are delayed (Mulan, Black Widow, etc). They have Onward and Hamilton this year; that's it. ESPN has no sports to show. Most of the Disney+ shows are delayed. Parks are ghost towns. They just posted their first loss in like 20 years. Disney is absolutely in bad place financially at the moment.1 point
-
Disney is hurting. Who's going to the theme parks?, Who's going to the movies? Who's going on cruises? Whos watching sports on tv? (ESPN) Disney will take any form of sales right now. I'm just waiting for their stocks to go below $1001 point
-
Somewhere around 37% of Disney’s revenue comes from parks and other customer experience avenues (cruises). Not sure I would call that a drop in the bucket. Now they are trying to grow other revenue streams, but that takes time to become profitable.1 point

Disney is in financial problem due to the virus. Why would they want to stop collecting licensing $ from LEGO for sets like Disney Castle that are already paid for in term of design and promotion costs ?1 point

Target Hidden Side Ghost Train is another example. The other sale prices are still there for the Hidden Side train, but not target. It looks like Target changed the base price of the train to 25% off.1 point
-
There are entries that are either not being updated or removed when they are no available/prices change. I did not go through the list thoroughly but some examples would be Mias Horse Trailer and the Whomping Willow from Target.1 point
