On the topic of disputing feedback.... I think it was last year i ordered one of the SDCC exclusives from an ebay seller. A month or two after the order i contacted the seller a couple times asking what was up as the item was being shipped and in peoples hands. Each time i contacted i got no response. At this point i figured either the seller oversold, or sold too low (price rose dramatically after my order) and was just ignoring me, or they never had any to sell to begin with. So i filed the INR case after not hearing anything from the seller in weeks. Sure enough ebay promptly refunded me once the case was opened and i left negative feedback. This feedback wasn't mean or rude, something along the lines of "Never shipped, no contact from seller, would not recommend". Almost immediately afterwords i received positive feedback from the seller that said something like "F@!# this c@#!sucker" Had a good laugh, quick phone call to ebay got the feedback comment removed, but not the additional +1 positive feedback, so thanks for the free positive bud Sellers account disappeared after this, so either it was a scam account that was removed, or ebay temp banned them or something for the language (they did mention they were going to penalize the account due to going against TOS with the language).4 points

So today I sold my last Livi's Pop star House (41135) for $275 off of a buy-in of $30.20 on 11/26/2016. After expenses the profit was 194.22 for an ROI of 643% ( I almost sold this one last year fall for $100. Good thing the buyer never came back to get it.) Also - 75003 A-Wing for $55 , 75142 Spider Droid for $115, 75080 AAT for $90 and a 21018 United Nations for $100 all in a single purchase for combined shipping. The profit was 198.44 for the four sets on a buy-in of 98.183 points

I had a buyer claim that a bag 5 was missing from a sealed 41340 friendship house I sold recently. And instead of contacting me about it they just left negative feedback (was a newer Ebay buyer). I sent them a message saying that they should always contact the seller before posting negative feedback to see if they can resolve the issue. I told them that I would be willing to send them the missing parts (from bricklink) or offer them a $20 partial refund if they would be willing to revise their feedback. I then sent them a feedback revision request on Ebay (can send up to 5 per calendar year I believe). They accepted the partial refund and changed their feedback from negative to positive.2 points

Once I had an “original sealed” set that I bought from target myself off of the shelf. Got it home to build and it was filled with puzzle pieces. I had an assembly square from amazon that had two open bags inside of the sealed set. I have seen others post rare but similar stories with sets bought directly from the lego store, perhaps they were returns. So you never know. Anyway have you tried to contact the buyer and work it out? If they agree to revise the feedback they will have to call eBay which may be an inconvenience for them so you may have to incentivize them.2 points

I had one of those happen few years ago, expensive set sent UPS. Was up when they opened it and then gone it took so long to process (went after the 6 months UPS had up). In that case they did cover it and said in future to print a second UPS label and just save it. Said a copy of an actual shipping label will do in those situations which you usually wouldn't have either. Might of changed since then but what happened on mine. Also good if you use a listing software at time that stores all the old stuff. The trackings still won't be there but you do get some more information like ship date, tracking, postage paid usually and sometimes delivered on certain ones. Lot of loopholes out there right now they are being abused.2 points

Amazon finally realized I wasn't violating IP rights (rolls eyes). It's back up. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08FCW3SB72 points

Yeah. I can't wait for everyone to get rid of theirs ASAP so I won't have any competition when the holidays roll around and these things are gone everywhere1 point

This must be it. There were no taxes paid on either order by the buyers, so I was thrown by this as both shipping addresses are in the U.S. It looks like the buyer from today is probably a freight forwarder working out of Florida. Thanks for the insight.1 point

I’m not a huge fan of play-oriented sets, but this is still one of my favorite sets that I’ve built. It looks great on display and was a really fun build. One of the few sets in my collection that I’ve built twice.1 point

This was a really fun build. The instructions are split up nicely. Even though some parts of the build are a bit repetitive those moments go by quickly and something new and novel gets built. $199 would have been great but I still think this is worth the $229 I paid. You do need to connect Mario to your phone at least once to update his software to allow him to understand the scan code on the TV. If you don't, his stomach displays a cell phone on it with the bluetooth symbol. Without updating, he'll response to the various colors as you cycle through the screen but interprets them as land and water etc instead of playing the right sounds that sync with what's on the TV. I love the TV build. Even without function its just so retro it's great.1 point

Ugh. Don't mean to top this, but you ever build from a horrible quality pdf? "Oh that was dark grey?! Oh shoot. No wonder I'm out of light greys. Wait, those were black and not dark grey? Shoot. Time to take this apart again."1 point
