  2. I've been divorced for 30 years. I said that I had been wrong twice, but I never make the same mistake twice.

  3. Lord have mercy !!! I still have nightmares over that one. This , to me, looks nothing more than a ploy to sell toys ... Then againsthe sequels are as much cannon in the SW universe as the cursed child is in HP...

  7. I had my eye on a couplefew of those final round of hidden side sets. once countdown at target for the available date ended they all said sold out then vanished. Maybe they didn't even make any after retirement news.?. They are still listed at Lego Shop at Home. available Sep 1 but I'm not so sure now.

  8. It’s Ahsoka and the clone. I know it’s way overpriced, but I’m buying one for myself at MSRP lol. Been trying to get the Rebels Ahsoka for too long to miss out on this one.

  9. I remember the Holiday Special. I was about to turn 6 years old. It was Star Wars so I loved it. We recorded it on VHS. Boba Fett cartoon was dope...

  10. The Mosin Nagant had a nasty reputation for that. Several Soviet soldiers in WW2 reported dislocated shoulders. I was a history major for my undergrad and reading what Lyudmila Pavilichenko did with the weapon was really something exceptional. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lyudmila_Pavlichenko

  13. What is the date on your 30-40 Krag? I picked up the Russian equivalent of that weapon several years ago - a Mosin Nagant 1891/30 - $125. Mine is dated 1929 - Octagon barrel. First time I fired a dozen rounds through it, my shoulder hurt for a week. No padding added - just like what yours looks like.

  16. Ugh. Don't mean to top this, but you ever build from a horrible quality pdf? "Oh that was dark grey?! Oh shoot. No wonder I'm out of light greys. Wait, those were black and not dark grey? Shoot. Time to take this apart again."

  17. This morning I prepped most of the arsenal. My Brother-in-law is in town, so getting ready to take him to the range. Working Fridays is so 2019 (I'm on 20% furlough). Converted the home office to the range prep work bench. From the top, left to right: 30-40 Krag, Sig Sauer P320 M17, Glock 22 Gen 4, Ruger Mark IV 22/45 Lite, Ruger GP100, Beretta Cheetah

  18. I've actually had one of those haha. I had a "hot tooth" that they couldn't get to go numb. I had a dental assistant standing over my head who had me in a headlock so I wouldn't move and my jaw clamped open while the dentist drilled. Worst pain I've ever felt, and I have passed 3 kidney stones.

  19. Has anybody heard about this...A Disney+ Star Wars Lego Holiday Special? More importantly, does anyone remember actually watching the original 1978 Star Wars Holiday special? I do, and it's just as bad as you can imagine... https://www.usatoday.com/story/entertainment/tv/2020/08/13/disney-plus-lego-star-wars-holiday-special-updates-yuletide-miss/3359104001/

  20. Not a complaint by me, but I sold something on eBay through the Global Shipping Program to Australia. Package was light (only 8oz) and cost me $4 to ship to Erlanger, KY. Buyer paid $35.52 to eBay for the GSP cost. I can't imagine how much a Lego set would cost to ship through GSP.

  21. Continued cleanup from the "Derecho" storm that blew through Eastern Iowa. 100+ mph straight line winds for 30-40 mins straight. Overall our house was spared but the city looks like a war zone. So glad to have gotten power back last night. I realize what a blessing having power again is!
