Finally finished Ewok Village to prep it to sell after getting my last bricklink order. This was a really fun build. It was cool seeing the trees come together. Even though there are several trunks, it never felt repetitive at all. The finished set looks great too. It's a shame the previous owner wrote on a couple of the covers and pages in the manual.4 points

Almost the same for me today. Sold my loose Ewok Village for $250 local sale. I posted it yesterday. I didn't have to break it down and guy paid cash. Made about $10 less than I would off of eBay (my instruction manuals had writing on it from the previous owner and I had no box), but I'd pay $10 any day to save the hassle of breaking down a big set and boxing it up nice so it arrives safely. And no possible scamming!3 points

Bunch of pre-owned Star Wars sets. Wanted the display space back and was motivated to sell. Did roughly half retail so $300 cash. I think I bought at about half off anyways so to get to build, display and sell at cost works out for me. Slow local market where I am also, so to secure this in a day on Craigslist felt great. Oh and NO disassembly, whoo hoo!3 points

I grew up with Mario as well and my 8 year old enjoys playing the various Mario games, but neither of us are interested in this line of sets.2 points

Yes, the scan gun was set up on deliver mode (as opposed to pick up) - does seems scary when it first happens, but it works itself out through updated scans.2 points

I’ve had this happen a few times recently. It should fix itself once it gets its next scan.2 points

I just hope they don't expand the same concept like a digital Link to rescue Zelda across a grid of 2x10s... I was hoping for minifigures and actual sets. Haven't given up hope yet. We did at least get the 18+ NES so that shows they're thinking outside the current Super Mario lineup and have been for a while.1 point

we should start a poll. I grew up with mario I should like this but I dont...Is it my adult eyes? will this be a big hit or dud? Haven't bought any yet will this all be clearance fodder or resale gold?1 point

I really don’t get the theme or the appeal, but clearly LEGO is attempting to bank this as the new Minecraft. The whole course design and Mario as a character just looks weird and the power up packs feel super gimmicky.1 point

I've had this happen in the past where UPS was supposed to come for a pickup for a return item, bringing a prepaid label. When they drop the label off they scan the label as delivered to your home/pickup address. Once the item gets moving in the right direction again it normally resolves itself...1 point

was this using usps.com? years ago, I was rushing through and I think amazon shipping was unavailable. I accidentally input the wrong to/from addresses. You may want to double check it.1 point

I agree with your sarcasm. The Last Jedi should have given us a cool sub-plot featuring them. So many wasted opportunities with that film.1 point

You have the ability to add handling time on Ebay. You do not have to ship it out the next day. If he accepted Top-Rated Seller status and gets the 1% discount in fees, he has to ship within one day. That's my guess as to what he is talking about.1 point

Went to Palm Springs this week for the last week of summer vacation. Decided to check out Downtown Disney since my wife wanted to buy art from her favorite Disney artist. The Lego store was limiting the number of people inside the store to ten, and we had to put our name and phone number on a waitlist to get in (text when ready). It was an hour and a half wait, but it was fine since we had other shops we wanted to go to. Once inside, they allowed you to grab sets you wanted. PAB area was closed. There was a display near it that listed what pieces were available with a number next to each piece, and you had to fill out an order form with what pieces you wanted. A few of the sets on the shelves had the Euro stickers on them. It was kind of a weird experience with so little people in the store, but they managed it very well considering the crazy environment we're in.1 point

Not quite a "daily deal", but I popped on my Discover account today and noticed the 5% cashback for Oct-Nov-Dec is Amazon/Target/Walmart websites. Make sure you activate that badboy and clear your balance.1 point

I just added this disclaimer to my $200+ listings [Due to the high price, please expect messaging through the Ebay system to clarify and confirm sale details; set will not be shipped until confirmed messaging by the buyer] I know this won't protect me from all scammers...but it's an additional filter1 point

You just had to have the manual right? I also bought a manual when I bricklinked a GG a few years ago. Now it just sits in a box with all the other manuals. Seems dumb but if I didn't have one now I would probably buy it so the set felt 'complete'1 point
-
Not a set, but it is for a set: 2 Light Bluish Gray Plates 6x24 for $40 shipped each. I thought I would save money to BrickLink my missing 10224 Town Hall but in the end it still cost me >$400 (including manuals and minifigs) to get it all complete. Bit of a bummer.1 point

Yes. The hole in my heart allowed a clot to enter the blood supply to my brain. Im fortunate that from just looking and talking to me you cant tell. I have some memory issues , constant tingling on my right side and some issues with my vision. All have been getting better amd building is good therapy .1 point

@Jeff Mack Is there any light at the end of the tunnel on Brickfolio? Hope all is well1 point

I would be all in on Zelda as well, but I REALLY would prefer normal sized minifigures and no "play" feature.1 point

This only happens to me when I list on my phone through the app. If I go through my iPad or desktop, it stays where I set it. (Crosses fingers this continues...) I think some people have said to start the listing on the phone, take the pictures, then finish on another device.1 point
