I love that...I had someone message me awhile back that they would "try to pay for this soon". How about not bidding if you don't have the money readily available? And I learned to be careful with cancellations, since the buyer can still leave feedback in those cases. I just let eBay's resolution center do the dirty work, and once the buyer is hit with a non-payment strike, they are unable to leave feedback for the transaction.3 points

Lol unfortunately we aren't going to know anything concrete until later in the year, even then lego can extend products at there wish if there's a sudden surge of sales for them. Do not go by anyone's word on what retiring now, do your own research. There is a lot of people on here that would rather give false info about sets to reduce competition, I've seen many times already people bashing certain sets and stating they haven't picked them up and then after retirements saying they have loads of them. Nothing is set in stone, well maybe 21316.2 points

Trying to add products today and encountering many new restrictions that block me when I try to add using a browser and seller central, however when i use phone, and app using the ASIN, i am able to add most of these. Sets include: friends gymnastics, duplo jurassic world, speed champs F40, london skyline. Not sure what's going on, but you might want to add any products you intend on selling but haven't added to your inventory list before some random gate blocks you.2 points

Auctions certainly have more buyers not completing a transaction. Too many variables exist from the time someone places a bid to the close of an auction. I personally don't expect when I place a bid, to necessarily end up winning the item (of course if I do win, I would still make the purchase). I see it as more of a placeholder , so when the auction nears its end, I will be reminded about it (to check if the price is still worthwhile). I also sometimes bid on an item to kill the "or buyitnow" option for a listing (if it is too low). People are a mess - Lots of people don't even want what they wanted 5 minutes ago, let alone up to a week or so ago.2 points

I hate to admit it, but operating in "Christmas mode" (fulfilling several orders every day) during summer is wearing me down. I may need to shift to undercutting other sellers via FBA instead Or maybe I am just getting too old for this game2 points

I think the CV issue may force changes. There are real reasons why LEGO has to retire sets...even popular ones..if CV SIP rebounds and supply disruption kicks in again and into the fall and possibly winter...no one really knows what could happen. 5 months ago I "could not imagine" pretty much everything thats been happening.1 point

Physical pixel art, heck yeah. Decent canvas about the size of a record album cover, good definition in the palette of colors chosen, and overall well done including the usage of rounded studs or tiles over square ones. Perhaps nothing unique parts wise aside from the printed tile down in the bottom right corner but I suppose those times when you really need a pound of 1x1 tiles for a project. Haha. In any case, this is a great selection of artwork to begin with and I hope to see more (officially or by the fans).1 point

From my understanding (hope someone else can provide some hints or riddles... as I'm just taking educated guesses based on past sets etc) the 2020 big set retirement list (UK, most retiring in Q4/ 2021 Q1 if supply left) is: - 10255 Assembly Square - 10256 Taj Mahal - 10261 Roller Coaster - 10268 Vestas Turbine - 21316 Flinstones - 21318 Treehouse - 21320 Dinosaurs Fossil - 71043 Hogwarts Castle - 75954 Great Hall - 75955 Hogwarts Express1 point

Finished this up last week. Its a really nice set with some interesting building techniques. I bought the set for the bookshop - my parents wrote children's books when I was a kid and it reminds me of the independent bookshops we used to visit for their presentations, but honestly I liked the house build more. I know this has received criticism for being small, etc, but the details are really nice. I built the Grand Emporium a few months ago and there is a definitely a difference in style between the earlier modulars and the trend of newer ones, but not a bad one in my opinion. I do agree that LEGO missed a great opportunity to create more clever book titles like they did with the Palace Cinema movie posters, and I feel like they could have tossed in a couple more leaf elements for the tree, but overall I think its a really great set!1 point

more sellers = more competition = less profit. it's that simple. the smartest and most successful sellers on this site like to stfu about what is working and what they are doing.1 point
