  3. Built the extreme offroader 42099 few weeks back. While it's nice, it's torque and power seemed lacking and its ability to climb and clear obstacles is not satisfactory. So I got parts for and finished the Efferman mod from rebrickable, what a difference! It will climb any obstacles in front of it now! Very pleased with the results. The drawbacks were lower max speed and I think a larger turning radius (both from memory not proven). Very worthwhile upgrade for $40 of parts from BL. If anyone is planning on building one, make sure you manually calibrate the wheels when you insert the motor controlling the steering (connect to hub and have the motor rest in neutral position, then insert the motor while the steering bar is dead center). I didn't do this and had to take apart and rebuild the entire front section.

  9. When did SellerCentral stop showing you that you already have a listing for an item? Getting really annoying - I have to remember to go to my Inventory to replenish there instead of just starting to create a listing and get prompted.

  13. Lol. Probably more appropriate these days. I retired from map making around 10 years ago, and got completely out of the field (I was management) about 4 years ago. I changed careers and I’m basically a web developer now.

  15. Fire House is also 2 years old this year, and usually, LEGO only has two Winter sets out at a time. Which tells me it's really time for me to pick it up.

  16. 7019 Vikings Fafnir Dragon Fortress This set had been on my list for eons, and I finally found a decently priced one a few weeks ago. Missing a few pieces, nearly complete. Build was pretty basic, tons of stacking, but the overall product looks great, especially on the castle shelf. Overall, I really like it. I generally like bigger sets that don't use tons of tiny pieces, and this one has a certain classic feel to it. Can't believe this thing was a cool 70 bucks at retail, considering the size, features, and dragon. Oh yeah, and the box flips

  20. Report: Outbreak of idiocy spreading 10,000 times faster than coronavirus. TORONTO – Public health officials in Toronto have confirmed its first 50,000 cases of being a misinformed f**kwit as xenophobic conspiracy theories and tales of false cures continue to spread across social media. “Becoming a complete moron during an infectious disease outbreak is far more viral than we first thought,” said Dr. Jeanne Smith of Toronto Public Health. “Fact resistance is abnormally high especially among the dullard population, and the bottom 5% of your graduating high school class.” Tens of thousands of people were affected by a novel fake news claim that the Chinese government was developing coronavirus at Canada’s National Microbiology Lab leaving at least 10,000 people stupider. Patients are usually asymptomatic until they open their mouths or start tweeting. Aunts spreading rumours about 100% natural cures for the virus on Facebook have been quarantined while racist uncles at dinner tables were ball-gagged as a precaution. “Our epidemiologists are working hard to identify idiot zero, but there might be more sporadic outbreaks of coronavirus-related imbecility,” added Dr. Smith. Meanwhile, health officials are dreading teaching the population a complicated prevention technique: washing your hands.

  21. I took pictures today A total of 8 diners came this way over a couple of days. On the same day, Amazon also delivered two fresh in a box. Grrr... I might try to break even with these on ebay versus adding to my return tally. It'll be a good experiment to see if box condition really doesn't matter
