  2. I can confirm this. I just drove around to 10 different Staples and none of them had Lego.

  3. My last Sydney Opera House on Bricklink (others sold on Ebay) Thank you Corona! /s My storage room now has zero 10234's, zero modulars, and zero T1 Vans all sold with profit. Yes, that was a tear of joy and relief.

  4. Pssshh, Listen here. You didn't fork over $800 USD for this Lamborghini set. You don't get a "special card" and should accept the poor resolution promotional images as your reward. The "Black Card" is only for esteemed connoisseurs of Lego. You, petty peasant, are not worthy. Do not pass go, go straight to jail, so you get NOTHING! YOU LOSE! GOOD DAY SIR! Lego fans and their "demands"...

  8. One of the best thing I did for the reselling gig was being sure I had proper shipping supplies. It makes the job 100% easier. I carry about 6-8 different size boxes so I have what I need to be efficient in my shipping. I also bought a bubble pillow maker.

  9. This is my fav remote lego set. It's fast, very responsive & fun to run around the house. Sends the cat into hiding too.

  10. And also, my B&N run for the past weekend I spend around $12k (retail). PA just allowed curbside pickup since 6/5. I got: Great Hall x 8 Great Wall of China 21041 x 12 Capital Building 21030 x 7 Tree Hose 21318 x 21 (Maybe it's risky, due to it's still new in Idea line, great reward since LEGO.com still saying it's out of stock without a date) Saturn V 21309 x 6 Voltron 21311 x 28

  13. Decided to build 4 sets into 1 big train station. Will give it more body by using a Tower Bridge set, and add a glass (curved) roof.

  16. Good to know. I bought this yesterday for my 7yo son. It's going to be his first technic set, let alone remote-controlled.

  17. Now I might have to build mine. I have the old yellow race car 8376 and it's super fast. I didn't think a tracked car would be very fast.

  18. Protip --- get an account with WB Mason, and they deliver supplies free --- and they will price match places like ULINE. Alternatively you can search for a local packaging supply company. They will sell you boxes, tape etc very cheaply. Even at 25% staples is a rip off.

  23. Interesting when @boliramirez has plenty left at $399 plus shipping. I was watching your auction to see if it would go for less than $400 but then some zero feedback bidder ruined it. Congratulations on the sale. I sold my last Black Pearl used and dusty with no Davy Jones minifigure for $295 buyer is from China and they pay shipping. When I looked into replacing the Davey Jones minifigure he was going for around $80 but all of the sellers I contacted who had theirs listed as “NEW” did not actually have him in what I would consider new condition. Here is a picture of what my new Davy Jones looked like prior to selling him 7 years ago. If the bag is opened and the minifigure is assembled it is not new in my mind.

  24. They already have with a new redesigned box theme that is being used in different lines. The new Haunted House which is Fairgrounds and the new Gator train which I guess would have been classic creator expert. Will be interesting to see if the T1 gets a third box redesign to keep it current, as well as other current creator expert sets. Like the Creator Expert Modulars they would still be modulars but will they get the new more adult themed box.

  25. bought a Used Tower Bridge ($135) local deal. Actually i paid $140 because I didn't bring exact amount. Lame but the mom had her son bring the set out and he seemed so proud of it and the sale; I couldn't haggle and actually ended up paying more! (mental note, have boy present to sell sets to avoid hagglers)...this also happened earlier this year on my deal with the big roller coaster...I had planned to try and knock off another $20 but when faced w/ the kid who was selling it...I buckled.

  26. Why? They're 100% legitimate. I bought and sold many sets like this from the Lego outlet back in the day. Most recently I sold some of the Christmas creator sets like that. They don't care about stickers, just box condition.

  28. I see it as a 50:50 gamble that it becomes scarce for the Christmas buying season...it's either hitting $200+...or back to RRP if available in stores. Worse case you have to sit on it until a few months after retirement. The fact the play set connects makes it a must have for this current generation of HP LEGO fans. There has been some critiques that the current version is not as good as the prior releases of Hogwarts great hall; but w/ the release or Clock Tower and recently the forthcoming Astronomy Tower; this current line is clearly the best (IMO).

  29. Ditto.....ought to be interesting to resell at some point. Customers aren't going to like those stickers. Just remove them with a hair dryer. Most won't notice the piece count missing.

  30. Unless you're selling on Amazon or locally for cash & zero selling fees this set is a long term hold (and a great one). There isn't enough meat on the bone for a quick flip if selling on eBay or Bricklink if you're buying at full retail.

  31. LEGO stocks are pretty much disappearing from the retail shops, LOL. I am only seeing LEGO city and super heroes stuff (all the ugly ones and not the awesome batmobile).

  33. got it today! I'm a total box geek so... WOW!! if I hadn't sold it already I would be happy to have it on my shelf. also bravo to LEGO for the additional barrier in the shipping box. the typical plain shipping box was squashed and I was worried... the hot rod squashed... but this custom shipper box was good to go! whew....

  36. I bought a used Santa's Workshop this past December and finally made sure all the pieces were there. They were only about 5 missing pieces that I ordered on BrickLink along with other pieces I needed for personal use. I already have this set for myself as part of my winter village scene and this is the second one I have found, one new and this one used, both for a combined $90. It was not a nightmare to count before Christmas..

  37. Or. They could've just got competent people and made the trilogy correctly with all the old characters, new characters etc etc. It. Could. Have. Been. Done. Right.
