I checked this info. I thought it was bs, but he's actually telling the truth. Along with 21309 & 76020 (or 70620), 75119 will also come back to save TLG's plummeting profits in these hard times. Every order counts right now, as you all know, they're swimming in stock.4 points

The “BRICKPICKER Reseller Special” was delivered today! Woohoo!4 points

Possible replies: I will gladly delete your bids if you delete your eBay account so nobody else has to deal with your stupidity. Unfortunately I can't delete bids. The only way I know to get rid of a bid is if you delete you eBay account before the auction ends so they cannot charge you for the item. Also, they'll know if you come back and apply any old delinquencies to you new account.3 points

I don't know if I would say "every" set is a good seller. Not a single Hidden Side set is backordered. Several are even on sale at this time and still not sold out. Hidden Side Train has been 25% off for over a week at Target and you can still buy qty of 10 for shipping (https://www.target.com/p/lego-hidden-side-ghost-train-express-70424-augmented-reality-ar-toy-train-building-kit-697pc/-/A-75667055). Hidden Side reminds me of a sports study done in the USA many years ago trying to determine why inner city kids typically do not play baseball or hockey. It was determined it was the cost of equipment. Inner city kids were more likely to play basketball or soccer because all you needed was one kid with a ball and a hoop or target (goal). Hidden Side sets are nice, but unless your kids have access to devices, they're not able to play with it to its fullest. For those parents (like myself) whose kids already spend too much time on electronics, LEGO was supposed to be the escape from electronics. I have to admit, the videos advertising the Hidden Side actually turn me off. A group of kids standing around a LEGO set playing electronic devices? Kids are already doing that. Why would I need to buy a slightly more expensive LEGO set sitting in the middle of them not being played with?2 points

I had someone message me asking if I would take less for a set than what I was asking. I did what I normally do, check their location for shipping purposes, verify the going rates and decide if I want to entertain their offer or send them something in the middle. In this case I realized I was running about $25 low of where I should have been. I adjusted my price up and politely replied that the listing price was the best I could do. Sold it a couple days later to a different buyer for the higher price. So today, I salute you random low ball offer guy.2 points

0 post new user posts the same info 3 times in 3 different threads without a link to a source. Not saying it can't be true, but I for one need to see more proof than unsubstantiated rumors.2 points

Of course you should reply. And then post the entire conversation here so we can be entertained. Thanks.2 points

got it today! I'm a total box geek so... WOW!! if I hadn't sold it already I would be happy to have it on my shelf. also bravo to LEGO for the additional barrier in the shipping box. the typical plain shipping box was squashed and I was worried... the hot rod squashed... but this custom shipper box was good to go! whew....1 point

I think it just hit fox news - father in law just texted me telling me that I'm probably sitting on gold if I have any police figures. I sent him LEGO's response about the digital advertising. Haven't heard back...1 point

Relaunching of 21309 and 76020 is complete FAKE NEWS! I got a "reliable source" telling me that Chima Fire Bike 30265 would be actual relaunching target!1 point

They finally did it. It was sold out for a year without getting the technical tag.1 point

Last night they loaded up on Tree House (21318) at 10PM (PST), Corner Garage at 12:50AM, Assembly Square at 2:45AM, and Roller Coaster at 3:10AM. At least 20 of each when they went in stock. Enough that I got all that I would normally stock up for the winter and turned off the stock checkers on them. What I've also noticed is when these sets come in stock, the limits are turned off.1 point

In my book, his "I'll give you straight answers" comment at the top is a sure tell that the rest of the post is full lies.1 point

I once got a message from a novice flipper on FB Marketplace who was trying to grind me down on my "already reasonable" price. He encouraged me to be a "Good Lego Person" and sell the set at his offer price. For some reason, I found that comment to be particularly offensive. I passed, without a reply.1 point

I have a few sets I'd love to sell at 10% higher than retail plus shipping!1 point

He did make me laugh when he said sellers should sell the set for $275 plus shipping...10-percent margin and all that.1 point

Thankfully I came out pretty unscathed for a situation like this. I wasn't even going to reply but I wanted to see if I could make you guys laugh. Unfortunately there was nothing super funny about this guy... Just someone who had way too much time on his hands to harass all of the haunted house sellers except you Terry haha. I found it funny that he was " trying to get through to someone ", I can't see how his initial message would ever achieve that end. If you're going to go that route, at least be nice and beg appropriately with a nice sob story. Anyways, thanks for the fruitcake fun today. The title of this thread always gives me a chuckle!1 point

Lol, this whole thing smelled like overreacting and or panicking PR exec trying to manage potential (imaginary?) fire. LEGO unnecessarily put their brand in the crossfire and (in my opinion) will get flacks from people who actually want to see those sets removed from their catalogs permanently...1 point

LOL...They are looting any store. If for one second The LEGO Group thinks some knucklehead will hold back and not destroy a LEGO store because they removed "police and fire dept." sets, then I have some property to sell them. This is the worst message this particular company can send to LEGO customers. Let's face it, there are no LEGO stores in non-affluent towns. If they want to make a difference, build LEGO stores in poor urban areas and donate sets to the kids that cannot afford them.1 point

Sounds like someone missed out big on exclusives and is trying to get someone to bite and cause a price crash. There is nothing source wise out there for this... I've checked all the regular spots. He can't even get the numbers right in each thread. Sorry man, you snooze you lose.1 point

I am pretty sure we have to offer free returns, not free shipping, which of course means one idiot wants to return something and any profits I've saved from being a Top Rated Seller are out the window. Also, I just grab Paypal fees straight from Paypal since it's listed with each sale. I figured it's less of a headache than trying to calculate it myself with everything that gets lumped in with the fee. I'm not sure why Ebay's invoice can't just list net totals for each item rather than the way it's done now. Or maybe I am missing the place where this already exists.1 point

First course of action is to block that account from buying anything from you so they don't try to get back at you by purchasing and returning your stuff. Then reply back with what phil said.1 point

It's crazy that we live in a world where people can't handle their feelings and emotions so companies feel the need to do this. I understand if someone is upset by what's going on in the world, but to find toys, that have been on the shelves for years, suddenly offensive is overreaction at its finest.1 point
