I'm seeing some sold eBay listings today for around $350 with free shipping. For me, if I factor in $30 for shipping, I'd make about $13 if I sold at that price. Totally worth it for a free Beach Buggy.2 points

Bought a 75257 Millennium Falcon from Game Stop yesterday for $50 and change after taxes. Three hours later it had been sold on Ebay for $220 + shipping. Quickest, easiest turn around I have had.2 points

this is pretty much impossible...the Mexico plant is still closed and currently 2 months behind schedule (I doubt their pace in the best of times left much room for "ramping up" anyway). Every other manufacturing sector is experiencing reduced efficiency due to new health restrictions....we've already seen what happens when LEGO tries to ramp up their other factories...ie every Exclusive sets on LEGO Shop at Home is OOS. ...and thru it all TLG still prioritized getting brand new never heard of Monkey turds (w/ a ton of Chinese writing on box cover) out to market...so the decision makers are clearly not reading the room1 point

Not throwing shade or picking on you specifically, I just know how these sorts of things have a way of snowballing. Trying to get in front of it. And I do get it, totally.1 point

I don't believe new stuff is going to normal LEGO stores, been keeping it all online for 2 weeks here. Merlin stuff still getting the new stuff. LEGO said they didn't want crowds or reasons for people to line up so just bringing in replenishments from the warehouses normal shipments come in from. Could change but that's how its been so far.1 point

You know things are going well when you can unload the Classic Batcave for $250, shipping included.1 point

Between the various build techniques, style of architecture, playful designer video, and how much this reminds me of the retired Tower of Terror ride, this set is built on pure win. It just works on so many levels. Perhaps a bit small beside any of the modular houses the Creator series is well known for and there are some borrowed elements from the prior Haunted House but still a delicious design for such a dastardly denizen of Lego's legendary lineup. Also I can see having this in a sort of Universal Studios' backlot where all those prop houses are kept.1 point

Wife wanted a home office and the only option was our garden shed out back. Took about three weeks. Had to install three new larger windows, new subfloor, reframed the door and installed a new one, trenched and buried electrical 75ft, new 20 amp breaker in the panel wired, vapor barrier, insulation, wood tongue and groove pine, installed a screen door. Likely do plywood planks for the floor tomorrow. All told about $1000 w a small window A/C unit. It’s only about 70 sqft so not much of a chance for multi use space. It was her Mother’s Day/ birthday gift. She keeps calling it our Covid Cabin.1 point

I bought a used, nearly complete with all boxes, instructions, and packaging UCS Falcon (75192) for $380. It's missing one of the Porgs, but other than that its good to go. I have been looking for one of these to build for less than $450 and finally got one! Woohoo!1 point
