Bought a 75257 Millennium Falcon from Game Stop yesterday for $50 and change after taxes. Three hours later it had been sold on Ebay for $220 + shipping. Quickest, easiest turn around I have had.3 points

Get ready to hit the Lego store! Looked in the window the other day ago and it was strange seeing all the items that are out of stock lined up on the shelves. So close but yet so far. haha1 point

Nice to see Chris McVeigh's work being made into actual sets. He's made a lot before so maybe this release could be a test to see if they catch on and more to be released later.1 point

I've found Keepa to be very useful as well. Camel was my first, but Keepa seems to have more data. Takes a bit more getting used to though.1 point

21140 @ $4.18 21141 @ $4.18 75946 @ $6.28 75958 @ $10.48 75957 @ $13.78 75955 @ $16.78 75948 @ $18.88 75243 at retail, but after 30% it was $83.99 Unfortunately the handful of 75261 sold pretty much as fast as I loaded them up onto the Bezos factory. Had to delist them on Bricklink and eBay quickly before I oversold what I had acquired.1 point

Went to Gamestop to pick up my Hidden Side trains and the store was actually open for walk-in customers and they had one of the $50 75257 Millennium Falcons sitting on the shelf that I was able to get as well.1 point

no, that's weird. This is what mine said... Dear ______ We canceled your 2nd order of 10273 Haunted House, because let's face it... you were only going to keep both orders in a box on a shelf while occasionally telling your wife, "I bought that for $250, and it's worth $2225 now!" If you were serious about making that extra $100 on a "quick flip" then you would have opened up your ebay account at least once in the last 3 months, or updated that one "Welcome to Apocolypseburg" listing you have on Facebook Marketplace. But... you didn't. so... yep. Really, you should thank us. Just build the first one, OK? Kind regards, LEGO® Customer Service1 point

Since when did the COVID thread open back up?? Why cant these just be looked at as cool LEGO sets? If these were still region locked, the conversation would be a lot different.1 point

If you sold this for $73, how did you make $10 profit? Ebay and PayPal fees would take 13% of that leaving you with $63.51 (actually a little less than that because they also take 13% of your shipping charge). These are $60 before sales tax. So that would leave you with $3.51 without any sales tax. If you pay 6% or greater in your state for sales tax when you bought it then you actually lost money selling it (and since shipping is charged the 13% fees it is probably 5% for the sales tax before you lost money on the deal).1 point

Growing up playing Super Mario Bros 3 the frog suit was one of my favorite suits, and have no idea why. I wasn't that useful except for swimming without having to continuously tap A to swim. I also loved the Tanooki (Racoon) suit and how you could tune to stone. Oh, and not really a suit, but being able to sit inside that boot and hop around... so awesome and great memories1 point

Most likely a) shipped from store b) from a teenager with limited packing/shipping experience c) while wearing a mask and gloves d) during a global pandemic e) who may have thought it was a relatively sturdy box. I'd give some grace in this situation and move on to the next quick flip to make $20.1 point
