I do like the fact that Lego is releasing sets at the same time the game comes out instead of waiting until the game has been out for a couple of years already.3 points

I'm small time, and I've sold about $2700 in the last three weeks. I started selling late instead of the onset of SIP and I think it's worked out for me. Mostly local sales (some eBay), so I don't have to deal too much with shipping. A couple of sales from today: Grand Emporium $280 Brick Bank $350 10240 X-Wing $275 (dinged up box) My local sales have been at about average eBay sold price minus fees and shipping. Save my buyers money, and I net about the same as if I sold on eBay but without the hassle of packaging sets up. I'm running out of boxes.2 points

Yes, but I've been told off by FedEx clerks when I then used this weight in my package label. You're supposed to put in the actual weight, and in your accounting reserve the dimensional weight. *SIGH* It would be so easy for EBay to just do a max(weight, dim weight) on the price calculation, but nooooo.....2 points

I'm hearing rumors of two more Stars Wars sets. 31200 - Sith Mosaic (Darth Maul) https://www.brickfanatics.com/new-lego-mosaics-theme-rumoured-to-include-star-wars-and-marvel/ 75318 - The Child (Baby Yoda) https://www.brickfanatics.com/lego-star-wars-75318-the-child-to-recreate-baby-yoda/2 points

LEGO should adapt the concept behind Super Mario Maker 2 video games. They should create elements from various Mario games and release a bunch as a theme every year / quarter. So maybe Spring 2021 will have elements from Super Mario 3, Fall 2021 would be Mario World, 2022 would be Mario 64, etc etc2 points

Nexo Knights 70362 Battle Suit Clay for $49 cost was $3 TRU 70% clearance a used built Mint Wall-e with box and instructions $189 only $30 less than a new one on eBay I can’t believe some of the prices on used architechture sets I was looking up some of mine last night will need to dust them off.2 points

I would produce all the high demand out of stock as obviously there is demand. Then I would delay and cut the number of new sets to a minimum until things improve. Why retire sets that people and resellers want? All you need to do is produce them. Makes sense to restart production with preexisting molds.2 points

Bigger failure: Mario or Dimensions or Hidden Side? (Relax, Fusion, your title is safe; this is the battle for 2nd biggest LEGO/tech failure)...1 point

Ok. At least I now have a basis to estimate some invoices. I'll calculate the costs with actual box dimensions and dimensional weight but print the label with actual weight. This way I'm covered. Thanks, Phil.1 point

your best bet is go to fedex website.. they have a dimensional weight calculater. http://www.fedex.com/in/tools/dimweight.html1 point

Mosaic, when thinking of LEGO, reminds me of the Mosaic Maker that LEGO created a couple years ago: https://www.legoland.co.uk/tickets-passes/extras/extra-goodies/lego-mosaic-maker/ So I picture a 2d image made up of 1x1 plates and/or tiles that when built create a picture.1 point

I have still hope there will be another production run for this, before it's permanently done and retired by end of this year. I'd like to get it with at least a good promo thrown in.1 point

5% eBay bucks through the 21st for the lucky ones... sidenote, I try to buy at least 1 item, even if its super cheap, during each eBay bucks bonus period. the last time that I didn't buy something, I also did not receive the next few offers. Could be a coincidence, but just tossing it out there. so good work eBay, you have me hooked during these promotions...1 point

Growing up playing Super Mario Bros 3 the frog suit was one of my favorite suits, and have no idea why. I wasn't that useful except for swimming without having to continuously tap A to swim. I also loved the Tanooki (Racoon) suit and how you could tune to stone. Oh, and not really a suit, but being able to sit inside that boot and hop around... so awesome and great memories1 point

I was pleased with the outcome of set 75093, “Death Star Final Duel” from 2015. While not entirely screen accurate, the kids enjoyed the extra play features. Also, happy this set only cost me $55 two months ago.1 point

I don't think it is small compared to a modular at all. It's got a 25 x 25 cm base which is the same as the 32x32 stud baseplate used for modulars. It is 68 cm high, about half of which is the tower, which means about 34 cm up to the roof line. That makes it basically the same height as Green Grocer, but with a tower over a foot high stacked on top. The only modular with a higher roof line (ignoring towers and such) is the Town Hall, but TH's tower doesn't go nearly as high.1 point
