Between both BL and Ebay, anything new that I put up, sells. I have sold out of VW Vans and down to my last Sydney Opera House and have been raising prices on them. I couldn't give away T1's on FB a few months ago. I'm seeing parts of my storage room that I haven't seen in years.3 points

i'm not sure what to do outside of starting an inquiry on the USPS site. i will say, however, that i had a signature confirmation on a package a few weeks ago. USPS didn't even bother for a signature. they left it sitting on the front porch.2 points

You have 4 sets up for sell, and there are 0 other sellers on your site. Also, there is no search bar, so as people list stuff you just have to scroll through 1 page dedicated to EVERYTHING listed on your site. This is extremely poor UI. Your "Why we started" page has grammar errors, and can you at least LINK me to your eBay store so I can have some reference. I can see that Carlos has sold something, but I can't seem to find what he sold or how much he sold it for. So this appears VERY fishy. This is so OBVIOUSLY a scam. All your tabs at the top of the site just lead to each other, and NOWHERE on your site do you even EXPLAIN how it works. On your 4 items for sell, I don't know who the seller is(I am guessing you) and if I list something will it just be thrown into your list of items for sale. With no search bar and NO FILTERS, I am to assume that everything that is listed is thrown into ONE HUGE LIST, with NO WAY of organizing it. If there are 10,000 items in your store nobody and I mean NOBODY will scroll through them all, however is numbered 10, 000 will never sell their items. Sales with fees are better than no sales with no fees. I have seen tons of scam sites x10 better than this, but if it is your first scam site then I can tell you are still working out the kinks!2 points

Thank you to all the amazing people who have supported this raffle and in doing so also have helped St. Paul School. Our school would not survive without this raffle each year. A special thanks to Ed for all his hard work and for bringing this amazing raffle to our school. Not only are the children grateful for everything but as a parent I can tell you I am truly thankful for all the hard work that is put into this fundraiser. THANK YOU for keeping Saint Paul Strong!!!!2 points

I think everyone is arguing around the point, but not understanding the point that’s trying to be made here. It’s not about how it normally works. What some are trying to say is they, right now, with COVID practices in place, drivers are not actually having you sign for anything. Instead some are having you verbally acknowledge that you’ve received (and then “signing for you”) and some are just dropping off but still signing for you. No one has said anything incorrect, but rather right now, there’s no guarantee that the driver will actually deliver to John Smith though a signature is required.2 points

I was pleased with the outcome of set 75093, “Death Star Final Duel” from 2015. While not entirely screen accurate, the kids enjoyed the extra play features. Also, happy this set only cost me $55 two months ago.2 points

Question for mods, would it be possible to start a thread and call it "Retiring Soon - open speculation", or something like that? We could post things in there, instead of in the Daily Deals thread.2 points

EVERY Lego at Fred Meyer in the northwest along with at least one security tag. Use a heat gun to soften glue, remove, and clean with Goo Gone. Watch out for the matte finish boxes, their ink rubs off if you run too hard or get the box too hot.1 point

Nice group of sets. I'll add one you'll need to get: 7675 AT-TE. It works with the dropship although you need to mount it backwards as my son and I found out. 7675 has the same basic Technic handle the AT-TO. Unfortunately, LEGO did not maintain that same functionality in the 75019 AT-TE set.1 point

I cannot believe the difference on that poe price from amazon to ebay. MMMMMMAJOR difference. I guess I should expect some drop shipping offers soon.1 point

Could be. Or the reseller supply of large sets gets thinned out by binge purchasers leaving a limited supply of large sets for collectors in the future. Those who hold may see greater returns. It will be interesting to observe the Lego game in an uncertain future. Win or lose boys, make your bets.1 point

Wow. I'm sorry it was only momentary, I guess i got extremely lucky. I had separate windows open for the Roller Coaster, Bookshop, and The Stranger Things set as I wasn't sure what the deal is with curbside pickup at my mall based NJ Lego shop. (Looks like no go on that as no one in store is picking up the phone) I refreshed at 10am to see that it was available for some reason. Didn't want to chance it and quickly placed order. Looks like OOS 4 minutes later.. wow1 point

Sorry to hear. That is tough. Per my own experience, I recommend these to make clean up easier: 1. Submersible pump (I use Wayne Waterbug) 2. Dry / wet vacuum 3. High velocity fan1 point

You’re looking at their most current EOL post, which is not what I am referring to. The site admin has an informant, and posted that additional bit of information into the comment section of an older article. BTW according to that source Overwatch will be gone by End 2020 as well, as it seems that the next wave has been cancelled.1 point

So many sets are now backordered or out of stock at Lego USA, we're seeing a natural migration of those buyers onto Ebay and Amazon. I'm seeing the most strength on expensive sets, and I suspect the biggest percentage of these buyers are fairly affluent, and a huge percentage are living their best life through this pandemic with no commute in a new home office gig. The big question is "How long will it take Lego to catch up with supply and how will this affect product availability for the remainder of the year. That's the million dollar question. I have no idea what the real impact of this lost production time will be. Lego might not know either.1 point

Unbelievable. I am not sure what is more shocking. That I won(sorry Ed, I'm one of the Califorian's) OR that this is my 1st ever post. I have been a member and a follower of countless threads on this site for over 6 years now. It is built into my day to pull the site up 5, 10, 25 times a day. Everyday. I read practically every post in damn near every thread. I just don't ever post, it's just not my thing. But I am very much appreciative of Ed and Jeff Mack and everybody that makes the site the way it is(regardless if you post regularly or never at all). I don't buy tickets every year thinking I will win, I do it to help you help a good cause, I do it as my "payment or thank you" for the enjoyment and knowledge of brickpicker. So in case I never post again thank you for all that you guys do and thank you for pulling one of my numbers1 point

Sewer backed up into the basement tonight, 4-6" and really all across Chicagoland after 4" of rain. Lost a few sets on the lowest shelves, but because I keep them all in moving boxes, I had time to save most of them before the water got through the boxes. My wife helped me debox the few soaked sets, luckily they were bigger sets with the manuals also wrapped in plastic. Not the end of the world because we were mostly prepared for this eventuality, but I'll definitely be looking into getting a sewer check-valve installed.0 points
