Rebuilt one of my favorite sets from my top 3 themes. I now have 3 of them so will try to make a larger MOC. I purchased this set back in 2010 when my son was 1 and had it in his room (out of reach) for over a year. Then it was put into the box and forgotten about. 7621 Indiana Jones & The Lost Tomb. Too bad a Well of Souls wasn’t made.8 points

You are the 4th person that has written to tell me they need it because of a stolen collection. How does this stuff keep happening to LEGO resellers?5 points

FB Marketplace find: sealed Hagrids Hut (newest one) and opened, partially built Apollo 11 Saturn V for $65 total. Was told the Apollo set was complete but I haven’t verified. Box and instructions included. Used copies are selling for over $100 on eBay so I think I did good.3 points

It would be nice if everyone actually read Jeff’s post above. But for those didn’t/won’t/can’t: 1. The data is coming...this site is something he does on the side...and RL has made his real job super busy, meaning he doesn’t have the time. 2. Stop asking about it. It’s more work on him to go through and find just one person’s data (or five or twelve people’s). The site will be up, when it’s done and ready. Also: If this site is your only documentation for insurance, it’s possible that your collection may not be covered (I have a specific rider for my legos, and 40k stuff because the replacement cost would be ridiculous). I also have a spreadsheet backup (listing the sets, their status, and original retail) with photos of every set and mini fig.1 point

Hello - welcome to the forum! I'm sure many on here will have some advice and feedback for you. Thank you for the very thorough and thoughtful post. 1. Boxes - I think most people just want the instructions and pieces for used sets. If the box is in good/excellent shape, that can drive up the value. It really depends on the set and the rareness of the item. 2. Shipping - unique for everyone depending on volume. I use a variety of pre-sized boxes purchased from Staples and other suppliers. I used to try and save boxes but they would take up so much valuable space and it was a chore hunting down the right size. Now I have like 4 or 5 different standard sizes that serve me well. It takes less than 15 seconds to pull the right size unless its an usual item. I just ship with USPS and FedEx on eBay but if you are selling on other platform you can ship via Paypal /shipnow. 3. COVID-19 - demand is way up right now. Nobody knows what the future holds with the economy and potential supply/stock shortages this Christmas. Check out a few other threads on this forum to read up on everyone's opinions. 4. New Sets - LEGO has done a tremendous job with some of their new sets. I don't have much time to build anymore, but if I did, the UCS Star Destroyer would be at the top of my list just for the immense display value. That's just my opinion. Good luck!1 point

Just getting lucky. I haven't put more than $10 into any one raffle. I added it up and total I have bought $339 worth of raffle tickets. I have won a 75191 Jedi Starfighter with Hyperdrive, a bundle with all 3 of the new Star wars Helmet busts, the 75192 UCS Millennium Falcon, 42064 Technic Ocean Explorer and the 42100 Liebherr. Did a quick calc in my head not looking up the value, but that should be quadrupling your money, if I'm correct? That's insane raffle luck.1 point
