Clone Wars is finally right on track - After the initial "Bad Batch" story arc (which while great, was something many fans had already scene, in primitive form), the next story arc was new (and ok) , but mostly filler (showing a way too long Ahsoka storyline). We finally have the last story arc which will supposedly be leading to order 66 (and it was pretty great).2 points

I wanted to create a new thread in order to give progress on my site updates. I want explain a bit on what happened and what I am doing. What happened with the site? Honestly nothing really exciting or dramatic, overall in the end, I did not want to support the host I was with for the past four years after not really offering too much help with managed servers. They would spend 30 seconds looking, say they can ping the server so its up and then just say, "hey not my problem". I was on aging hardware, paying the same amount of money, so I took the opportunity to move to a new host with better/faster hardware and a staff that does help to support you when run into an issue that you can't handle on your own. I have been doing this a long time and pretty good monitoring and handling 99% of what comes my way, but there are issues that you need the next level up to help figure out what to do. I wasn't getting anything like that, but paying for it. Not anymore. What my goal is... I know more than anyone that the site needed some TLC. It's been a while since I have done any drastic updates, the site looked tired and I know the site can be so much better than what it's current state was. LEGO investing has changed since Ed and I launched the site and it's time to remove the dead content and bring more of what people are looking for. Below is the short term list of items planned for updating. I have been working on the nightly, just like the early days and enjoying seeing parts of it coming to life. Fix the login. This has been messed up and quirky for a while. This has been resolved and working well. It's a simple thing overall, but nice that it actually works how it's supposed to Overall price guide site design update. The site was tired and disjointed. I hated it and pained me to look at it. Time to start over. Brickfolio update. All the Brickfolio data is safe. I have close to three million rows of data for Brickfolio entries. Time to bring this thing to 2020. I will probably create another thread at some point to solicit some feedback on some new requests for the brickfolio Fix the data syncing with Brickset. A lot of people used this feature, but it's time to make it work the way it should. Later I will work on the content portions. The news and blogs. I have some good ideas for this, but want to get the price guide and brickfolio to you sooner than later. What I am asking for if possible... If you can, please stop asking where the brickfolio is. Again, the data is safe and I am working as fast as I can to bring it all back to you. It won't be a few days, but more like a few weeks, but it will be worth it. I setup my dev environment to push releases quick and easy. I want to create a true changelog so that you can follow updates to see what was done/fixed/new/removed, you know like what real software companies do. I really do appreciate your patience with this. It wasn't planned, but if there was going to be a time to do it, it was going to be now.1 point

Not to nitpick, but your math is a little fuzzy. 20% plus another 20% off after comes to 36% off total, not 40%. Still a good deal though, thanks for the post. Also for those looking to refi their home...now is not the time to sign up for new CC. There is a CHANCE rates may hit 3.0% (30 yr fixed confirming) or even lower in coming months; and I believe w/ all the forbearance and defaults; banks will only offer those rates to the cream of the crop borrowers.1 point

40306 LEGOLand Micro Castle is $13.99 (RRP $19.99) as well. Unfortunately 1 per household and free shipping starts at $35, but if you plan to buy the Wooden Figure, this might be a nice add-on.1 point

Over at SD, there is a deal detailing a Discover offer for 20% off Amazon sold items (up to a max of $50 off $250 in multiple purchases) valid until 4/20 or $2,000,000 in total redemptions. Combine with some 20% off Amazon sets to get 40% off total. The 20% discount also works on third-party gift cards (Best Buy, Gamestop, Whole Foods, etc). Sweeten the deal by buying an Amazon $200 gift card first with the Amazon Prime credit card to get the additional Prime 5% cashback and then use the purchased gift card to then make the Amazon purchase.1 point

I just got the delayed promo texted to me for the space ride. I'll use it because I was planning on buying the big rollercoaster at RRP anyway.1 point

I have not built anything yet. I'm still collecting parts but I am a little sidetracked trying to complete some used sets to get ready to sell.1 point

What I find amazing is that every large set I can think of that retired this past December is performing extremely well already. Cloud City, UCS Y Wing, Carousel, Apocalypse burg, Ninjago City and Docks, Parisian Restaurant... All are already up to prices I wouldn't have expected to see until maybe 2021 holiday season. And all of these could be gotten for heavy discounts just months ago. Ebay prices for some of these have caught up to 3rd party Amazon and Walmart prices. I can't recall the last time the prices of so many sets were being held down by Amazon sellers instead of Ebay sellers.1 point

Received my Florida sets today. They arrived looking like Tina after a go with Ike. And no GWP. Gotta admit I don't really care. Too many sales coming in. I'll just list them as damaged... a year from now.1 point

I confess I thought the same thing about the price, maybe even $175 US considering the part count. However, as someone else pointed out in a different thread (I don't recall which one, maybe the UCS snowspeeder thread) the size of the ship or part count for UCS doesn't really affect the MSRP. The T-47 Snowspeeder is the smallest of all the SW ships @ 5.3m / 17' 5". The most recent UCS Snowspeeder had 1703 pieces ($200 US) and was nearly the same size as the UCS X-Wing which in Star Wars is over twice the length (12.5m / 41'). The RZ-1 A-Wing is still roughly half the size of the X-Wing and only slightly larger than the snowspeeder @ 6.9m / 22' 8". The UCS LEGO A-Wing has 1670 pieces ($200 US) and again will be roughly the same size as the LEGO UCS Snowspeeder and UCS X-Wing. So the price, while not advantageous, is in line with previous sets. This is LEGO's first non-remake true UCS set since at least 2015 so I don't necessarily see the price coming down. However, if it goes on sale, I'll definitely buy more.1 point

Hi. The mods decided to lock this thread again. We think members need a break from COVID-19 talk on a Lego fan site. Is anyone building LEGO? If so, please post pics, create a new topic, and reply to existing ones. So far during this debacle, my kids built a Friends Art truck, Vader's transformation, & the LEGO Easter giveaways. They are doing a 500 piece Thomas Kinkaid Disney Jungle Book puzzle now. Personally, I found time to build Capt, Rex's whatever you call and fixed a few sets that fell apart last yr (mainly Rebels Vader Tie vs. A-Wing) . I'm building the Creator Expect Ford Mustang when not working my real job, dealing with the wife, and helping the kids w/ their online schooling,1 point
