That was my initial reaction looking at the outside of the box, but when I opened it and saw that the one bubble was luckily placed in the bad corner, I immediately grabbed a random TLM2 clearance set, lit it on fire, and tossed it out to the wolves as a sacrifice to the LEGO gods.

My 30-day sales are ahead of my December total. I'm selling stuff that I didn't think would ever sell. Benny's Spaceships for $200 T1's for $225 I even sold my Sopwith Camel, which I think is the longest hold in my inventory at close to 10 years - for $270.

I realize an X-Wing is supposed to be the gold standard of the franchise. But I just sold my last UCS Red Five. My two favorite starfighters are the B-Wing and the A-Wing. I have the B-Wing. I will need to pick up this A-Wing. This is just beautiful.

I almost pulled the trigger and then I watched this video comparing it to 9398. Now I wish I hadn't sold my two sealed sets.

I was at a large independent lego store yesterday to pick up some Lego and they told me they're more busy that during the Christmas time. I think this is a combination of the lockdown and the renewed interest via Lego Masters. I noticed a lot of new accounts on Bricklink, so I think this will be a great time to sell Lego

As someone who only has a Slave I and the new Snowspeeder, Im going to get this for sure. Never been into UCS sets, but the A-Wing is one of my favorites. Had the original 7134, this looks 'zoomable' as well.

My 60 day total is now double what my December/ January sales were. Running low on stock and all the good stuff is flying off the shelves. I don’t even have time to raise a price on a set—when one copy sells others pounce.

I should have taken pics of the four speed champions I just received from Amazon. I ordered all four at the same time. Amazon, in their infinite wisdom, separated them into four separate shipments received over three days each packed in a bubble mailer. *facepalm* All are going back because they were all crushed. Seriously, why do these companies (Target included) send LEGO in a bubble mailer?

Pop 'em open and build a life-size version. ToO was one of the first sets I bought when I came out of my dark ages. I was so amazed by some of the sets that had been available and then retired when I wasn't paying attention to LEGO. I missed a lot of good times apparently by not coming back into LEGO until 2017.

As someone who has already built a UCS Nebulon-B and has the parts to start a UCS AT-AT and the instructions for the UCS Tie Bomber and UCS Tie-Defender, I mostly agree. But all the UCS mocs I saw for the A-Wing just never really captured the sleek look like this set has. One of the challenges was the canopy, which LEGO made a new one just for this set.

We built a Welcome to Apocalypseburg last week, and then Pirates of Barracuda Bay this week on the same table... No comparison... $100 difference in RRP, and Pirates is the sameish size, and SO MUCH BETTER. Best set since Old Fishing Store.

I’m surprised with how annoyed I am with how that wrapped up. I thought Tyler and Amy should have gone home way back at their geodesic tower or whatever the hell that atrocity was... The integrity (FWIW) is really in doubt, too, given the twist in the SW episode to save Tyler and Amy. Interesting that the preview for this finale even referred to “the final two” teams, so that was definitely an audible. And I don’t see that Peacock & Monkey being third place, either. Enjoyed the season overall, but it feels too pre-determined that Tyler and Amy would win. Yawn.

There were two or three other times during the season when the beards should have beat the couple. But every time it was close, the judges chose the white-bread, picket-fence, snore-fest couple. I feel like he is an honest, goofy, likeable-ish guy and she is an alien shape shifter attempting to pull off an impression of a perfect American suburban wife from an 80s sitcom. I had a feeling when the beards’ underground layer build got second that it was going to take an utter meltdown by the couple to make the judges go any other way. While I like both judges, neither has anything resembling an edge to them, so it was pretty much them picking the thing that reminded them of themselves. This isn’t a knock on the couple’s skill, they were like a 99 out of 100, but I feel the beards were a 100.

Yep. People are realizing they missed a decent Cloud City set that’s actually cool and from the “best” SW film. It’s like the ultimate Barbie ranch style house for SW fans and far better than the original one. This set is also like the anti-1960s Batcave. Too bad as that Batcave is nice.

I like it. I like it a lot. Now, if we can just get that UCS AT-AT for the 40th anniversary of ESB...

It should be Arvel Crynyd. He's the pilot who flew his damaged A-Wing into the bridge of the Executor, which caused it to vear into the Second Death Star.

I found the finale to be a bit disappointing, and I guess I agree that I was most disappointed in Mark and Boone. I felt that they were easily the best team of the three, but their idea really failed them. It was not nearly creative enough for the finale of this show, no matte how epic in scale, or well-executed it was. Really unfortunate because, over the course of this season, they've built some great stuff that was a helluva lot more creative and fun than what they did for the finale. The peacock was by far the most eye-catching thing built in the finale, and the peacock/monkey thing, IMO, was the most creative of the three builds. For that to come in 3rd place, I'm guessing it somehow lacked in size or execution compared to the other two? Or maybe the ranking was just a reflection of a cumulative ranking, as Sam and Jessica were easily the least of those three teams over the course of the season. I will admit that I am a bit biased against Amy and Tyler, and really disappointed that they won. They are just so f'ing boring (anyone who builds Lego in a coat and tie really needs a drink - at least!), and I think that comes through in a lot of their builds. I don't find anything particularly inspired about their Eagle/Griffin and serpent thing, and outside of that, they just build 1 1/2 towers and some landscape. I'm sure it was technically well done, and the judges always mention how impressive their character creation is, but that piece was just lost on me. Maybe, with TLG being such a family-based business, the judges bought into the "parental protection" message that Amy and Tyler were peddling? I don't know...not my thing. Still, I enjoyed the season overall. I wish I had the talent to be on a show like this, and I'll watch again next year.

Actually, people with less money spend a far greater percentage of their income on discretionary items. Latest shoes, phones, watches, AirPods, Starbucks morning, lunch, after work, eating out, etc.
