I think it was your Brickfolio that corrupted the files to be honest. I never heard of a LEGO set that was called "Beef Jerky" before.6 points

Went to our very first Monster Jam on Sunday. Surprisingly, we all had a blast. My 7yo son got to high five Tom Meents, driver of Max-D Fire. Right after, he said, "I'm never washing this hand!" It was too cute. My wife somehow fell in love with Bakugan's driver. And even my 12 yo tween daughter had fun too. She was hooting and hollering. All in all, a good day of family fun.3 points

It's hard saying goodbye but there are always more in need. I get to have kittens a couple times a year. Seeing excited families adopt a cat I helped makes up for saying goodbye. A few people have stayed in touch too. One woman adopted two from me now lives in Germany with them & sends pictures once a year. Last year someone who adopted a pair from me seven years ago called out of the blue just to tell me how wonderful they are. That got me choked up.2 points

I think the chaos was coming from Disney / LucasFilms side. Just look at the absolutely abysmal sets related to ep IX. That movie was supposed to be the end of a saga for goodness sake, yet the sets are a bunch of remakepalooza. LOL.1 point

there are no valid proof theories.. take your BrickBank.. it has been reported (here) today that its being sold for 400 USD in North America.. while when you take a look at UK ebay its hardly 250 GBP.. Over here its still obtainable for like 250 USD max given the fact that most of the resellers come from the local LEGO factory and there has been more than 2500 ppl working there. The same situation might be in Hungary where LEGO keeps a factory. you claim that Palace Cinema is not earning. Well, that is from your point of view. In the local region I was able to get easily 250 USD for that. So it is always a combination of several criteria that contribute to the price. and in this aspect I must say that naive UK buyers are the worst.. they rather pay 20 % more for the set BECAUSE its a local UK seller than from someone "offshore" - be it French, German, Spanish origin who has really adequate great feedback.. I can see that everyday.. while I do not think that every British native is that "mind lmited", its still a majority. They seem to have some tendency to be overconfident "we are British - who is more".. well enjoy it after Brexit when you will have no "low-cost" workers working in the pubs or picking up the strawberries..1 point

Farnsworth House from a used lot... not my most careful build since I was just checking for completeness. Oddly it was missing one 6x10 plate of all things so I had to replace with the wrong color while I order one. Nice looking set but boring repetitive build.1 point

I picked one up at Star Wars Celebration Anaheim years ago. I agree, it’s a great set. I intended to hang it from the ceiling in my son’s room....however, it met with an...unfortunate fate so it’s sitting in a bin, waiting for me to reassemble. Myself, I put together the 20th Anniversary Snow Speeder set 75259. Fun little build. I always loved snow speeders and think this one looks pretty slick.1 point

I built the 8099 Midi-Scale Imperial Star Destroyer I bought used on Facebook MarketPlace. Though the build was repetitive, which is to be expected for a set like this, it is interesting how the relatively small inner core of the ship that forms the base is where the rest of the structure attaches. I like how the command tower bridge looks and is fairly movie accurate despite its size. The ship rest nicely on a Technic support structure. Cannot wait to build the used 75055 I have next!1 point

Saw a used 10262 James Bond DB5 set for $100. Decided to take a chance on it. Pretty decent build. Very happy with it. the build wasn’t overly repetitive which is nice. Was also surprised how strong the build it especially w/ the doors. I can hold the car up by a door. Great design.1 point
