  1. You're right, and as with all loss I've already been through a brief grieving process. At the end of the day though it is just plastic bricks.... And perspective is key. There's thousands upon thousands of people dealing with far worse situations than this. One of my best friends has been dealing with cancer and a brain tumour in her 6yr old boy for the past year. At the end of the day I can't feel too downtrodden. I will learn from this and move on.

  3. This past Sunday my son and I went up to New Jersey to meet Ed Mack and to pick up the Kingdoms castle display case you he had for sale. It was well worth the three-hour drive to meet one of the founders of the BrickPicker community and to spend time with a fellow Lego fan/enthusiast. He showed me his collection and we share a passion for many of the same themes (Star War, Space, and Castle). I am still in awe! It was so nice to meet Ed, who along with his brother Jeff has done so much for Lego community and through the raffle for his beloved St. Paul School. As part of the deal for the display case, I am donating to the BrickPicker Lego raffle. I am glad I can support his cause. With Ed’s permission, I am posting a picture of us. He is the more handsome one!
