From a former Lego employee 700 for both ..

I found a decent '80s lot on Facebook yesterday. The seller only had the 6542 Seaport, 6395 Raceway, & 6394 Metro Park listed for $290. I talked her down to $225. Then she mentions that she has more not listed. She sends me some pictures and says $350 for everything. I counter with $300 and she accepted. The Slave 1 pictured wasn't included. I just didn't feel like moving it before taking pictures. Other than some dust, everything is in excellent condition and appears to be mostly complete. The sets with boxes are all still assembled inside their box. Inside the two storage containers are parts for what appears to be some classic space and town buildings. This should keep me busy for the rest of the winter.

Hi, all ! Been passionately collecting and building Lego sets for the last few years and recently stumbled across the world of investing and potentially making money back from Lego sets ! Now I’m totally new to the investing aspect of Lego so please go easy on me, has anyone got any tips or could point me in the right direction of where I should be looking to improve me knowledge in this area ? I've used one for years without any problems. Unlike other stores, Amazon let's you pick and choose which items to apply the exemption to

my only advice is don't look at what our american friends buying prices are & expect them in the uk. investing / flipping / dabbling whatever you want to call it is a different game over here.

I actually enjoy buying and flipping used sets. It gives me a chance to build sets I otherwise wouldn't have bought. My tip is make sure you know where you're going to store sets before you buy them. Space is a real issue.
