I would personally leave no feedback. We appear to be similar in that we won't complain too loud if in the end all was made well especially if I had no deadline to need the parts by. A neutral wouldn't be out of question if your feedback told the whole story that you were made right but that overall the transaction wasn't necessarily "positive". These are the times I just withhold a positive and go on about my day.5 points

I'd look at it this way. It's not a highly profitable business where absorbing expedited shipping is easily done. He's already given you free parts, paying for additional shipping and sorting for a whole new order again. He may also be doing this twice if two orders were mixed up. He made your order right in a reasonable amount of time. Things happen. For me at least, as long as a company takes care of the situation I'm ok with a mistake. I'm not perfect, and neither are my employees. For me to leave negative, or neutral feedback, there has to be an obvious bad attitude or sense they do not care.5 points

My 10 year old loves the Packers & Lego more than almost anything else, so I got him this buildable Lambeau field this year for Xmas. He's taken on several very complex Lego builds without batting an eye, but he threw in the towel on this set very quickly. I took over the build from him and can't blame him - the instructions are at times near incomprehensible, and there is almost zero margin for error, lest you have to retrace your steps & deconstruct portions of the set to fix errors you didn't even know were there(which is it's own pain in the ass). I'm looking forward to the finished product, but it's made me realize how much I take Lego for granted2 points

Overproduction is really into affect. The game is starting to be more and more dependent on getting lucky. I really loved 42075 as an investment but not when its sitting at Limit 99 on SAH. Strong pass.2 points

Parisian Restaurant on sale at LEGO Shop at Home for $112... https://www.lego.com/en-us/product/parisian-restaurant-102432 points

I like it. I've always liked sports related Legos. If this does well, it would be great to get a Wrigley Field or similar for us Americans2 points

The last dozen or so sets I’ve purchased on release day with the intention of cutting the seals and building are either still sitting in my “build” pile or saw a price spike just after release and fell prey to my black QFLL heart.1 point

Love that comment... "People like you p*ss me off. I'm curious do you have too much time or do you enjoy this?" Can't agree more. Don't be put off by Brick Trollers. And thanks for sharing your opinion.1 point

So visiting in-laws over Christmas. Visit local Myer who still had The Old Fishing Store 21310 for sale (at 25% off!), also had a heap of architecture sets that will finish up plus the Chinese sets from last year that sold out. Unfortunately vehicle space was very limited so I went home to think about how to ‘tetris’ a few boxes in the car for the 10 hour trip home a few days later. Went to the local Big W for some batteries and ended up with this instead. Side of box has a tear but all seals attached and looks good to me. Bought for half price. Next time I visit inlaws I’m taking a bigger vehicle.1 point

You speak with such certainty in nearly everyone of your posts that it is also off-putting. Presumably, the reason why this modular has been out so long is because it is a phenomenal seller for LEGO. The market isn't static. There are always new entrants that will have missed this one. At $112 you aren't going to lose money on this set unless you are just really terrible at selling LEGO. Just because it doesn't make sense to you to buy it doesn't mean it's not a good decision for someone else. I'll give you the same advice my wife and I do our 8 year old: talk less and listen more.1 point

Thanks, Captain Obvious. Do I have to mention the word "personally" in that sentence? People like you p*ss me off. I'm curious do you have too much time or do you enjoy this?1 point

Think I'll have to start looking at modulars now looking at the success already of the PR . Why oh why did I just not click the purchase button on lego shop, I was so tempted but just assumed I would have my money tied in it for too long so left alone. I'm guessing alot of people went the same way as me due to how its performing right now.1 point

Dude, if a Lego Wrigley Field came out I think they could about name their price with me. My luck, though, they would finally create a baseball stadium and it was be the damn Yankees or something.1 point

Every order I placed said they were sold out and there will be a delay fulfilling my order. Probably a good thing. May be a good year to have some excess cash reserves.1 point

Question on me providing feedback to a seasoned BrickLink seller with 27,245 feedback. Ordered parts (~$25) on 12/16, coming from Pennsylvania to Iowa. Seller page did indicate 5-10 days before shipping (I'm guessing due to holiday). Order did take a while (no tracking provided) but eventually arrived 12/29. Opened the box, correct packing slip, wrong parts (bunch of technic parts that I would estimate to be roughly same value as the order I placed, maybe a bit less). Notified seller, they replied within 12 hours (responsive) and said keep parts and will send the correct ones out. At the same time I ordered a duplicate order from someone else. The order from someone else has already arrived, very quickly. I still have not received the replacement order from the seasoned seller but it looks like it should arrive tomorrow (they did provide tracking this time). Is it wrong to leave neutral feedback? Rationale would be long initial shipping, mixed up order, and long secondary shipping. Part of me feels like keeping the mixed up parts neutralized their error and means I should give positive feedback, but if I were a seller and mixed up a buyer's order I would expedite the replacement order, and it doesn't appear that happened. I'm not feeling that "positive" about it, and I don't feel negative about it either... is that a reasonable basis for neutral feedback? I'm generally not the kind of person that writes complaints to companies or "asks for the manager", etc. a bit more passive and non-confrontational.1 point

A few sales today at Costco. Good if you're a Technic fan! Packaging is always a question now with them.....1 point

Looks good, I would of liked some minifigs at that price but I guess the scaling would be completely wrong judging on how big it is. Probably will release a series of man u figures down the line anyway. It does look a lot like a architecture set like others have said. Now has it got the potential to do well as a quick flip.1 point

As I mentioned before, since values are all about hype, I can think of 2 things that would easily take it to 200 euros.1 point

Solar panels (at least the small ones with the little gap in the middle) are printed and were previously in the Women of NASA set.1 point

Those solar panels are prints I believe. Thought I’ve see them in a poly bag set.1 point

I had a similar reaction. The packaging is about 1.3 larger than the 6-wide cars and feels cheaper. Also, the previous packaging showed more of the LEGO build; the new packaging shows more of the real car. The LEGO store had a couple 8-wide on display next to the previous 6-wide and I swear the new ones look more square than the older ones. That puzzles me considering LEGO has more room to work with but appear to have taken a step backwards. I have been looking forward to both the Audi and Nissan, but they're both blockier than I had hoped. I'm sure I'll still buy them... when they go on sale.1 point

Some fairly recent stuff in there too like Valentines puppy. I almost lost it when I saw the Kylo Ren polybag.1 point

A huge stadium? Uhh...doesn't seem that interesting to me at that scale. I always thought stadiums would work best as architecture size sets, so you could have a few of your favorites sitting on a shelf (or a CEO desk)1 point

A Lego Old Trafford? Sales will be good in the London stores then as most 'United' fans reside in the south and never venture north of Watford.1 point

Sure do. The site is awesome but unfortunately they are UK sooo shipping sucks, but I often wait and make bulk purchases if I want stuff. Good quality and good customer service! https://www.wickedbrick.com/products/display-case-for-lego-star-wars-battle-of-hoth-20th-anniversary-edition-40333?_pos=1&_sid=faec69a77&_ss=r https://www.wickedbrick.com/products/display-case-for-lego-star-wars-battle-of-endor-20th-anniversary-edition-40362?_pos=1&_sid=5b7ac908b&_ss=r1 point
