  1. Looks like three promos will overlap 1/24-1/26 with $80 total. Likely seeing some deep discounts on the left over sale items. Be on the look out for the overlooked— plushes, pods, key chains, etc. December 6 – January 31: Free LEGO Star Wars Obi-Wan Kenobi (30624) with Star Wars purchases of $40 or more, while supplies last. January 13-26: Free LEGO Seasonal Year of the Rat (40355) with purchases of $80 or more, while supplies last. January 24 – February 9: Free LEGO Hidden Side Drag Racer (40408) with purchases of $45 or more, while supplies last

  2. They gave C3PO his best dialogue since Cloud City ESB. Poe also had snappy dialogue throughout. Geriatric Lando was fun. Mando TV show already satiated the thirst for good SW content... this was all basically gravy. Acceptable.

  4. It’s a Christmas miracle! Speed Champions versus 18 pounds of liquid laundry detergent. Usually spells disaster But arrived unscathed. Normally wouldn’t expect this from Amazon. Especially since these were initially two separate orders. So their automated system decided to combine them

  5. I like the Kylo Ren Shuttle remake however disappointed that it gets minimal to no screen time in the movie. Zorii Y-Wing is slightly more featured. First Order Troop Transporter has a significant scene. Kylo gets a new Tie which makes the old Lego one less exciting and almost guarantees a remake. This movie offers TONS of opportunities for new location and ship based sets (and MOCs). At least for now all the RoS sets produced so far actually showed up in the movie and in the right color.

  7. I started comparing it to older sets and I noticed that it is really similar to the Detective's office and the pet shop. If you look at the three next to each other you really start to wonder if they accidentally copied a briefing about the colors and the setup of two sections. Don't these look a bit too similar color wise?

  13. Disney's new streaming service doesn't expect to make a profit for 4-5 years. But the amount of content they already have is mind-boggling. There is stuff I had no idea they owned the rights to. Where they are going to be challenged is to come up with new content to keep up with Netflix. Stuff like The Mandalorian. Hopefully, that won't bomb like the movies are. My wife and I are looking forward to the Loki series as well. If their streaming service takes off, Disney could move into a whole new realm (no pun intended) of media dominance. But right now I look at Disney and Star Wars like a car engine running but missing (running poorly) on one cylinder. You can drive such a car, but not to its fullest potential. It can even run OK for a time, but eventually you need to diagnose the missing cylinder otherwise it will cause bigger problems to the whole engine. That is where Disney needs to get SW figured out. Personally, I'd change the spark plug (Kennedy) and see if that fixes the problem.

  14. Interesting - Be aware that there may be spoilers. You can usually tell when they are getting into details, and skip ahead as you read it. https://cosmicbook.news/george-lucas-saving-star-wars-test-screenings-disaster

  15. You can swim in the Disney cool-aid all you want, but please do not cite this embarrassing article. Just for the benefit of others. That $4.8 billion number was GROSSED, meaning they have not counted for cost of making the movies, cost of advertisement, and the cut to the movie theaters. Lets be honest here. Even the first year eBay sellers know that just because they sold a LEGO set for $200, does not mean they made $200.

  16. Never heard of some Skull thing. Don’t know what you’re talking about. Must be some fanfic or something because there hasn’t been an Indiana Jones movie since 1989.

  20. Same thing here. Two sets inside. Both pancakes. Having target replace them. They wanted me to return them to the store or ups. I have them a piece of mind and now they are sucking up the cost of sending UPS to me to get their $50 in crushed legos back.
