Lego.com LL14 code is taking 30% off of all orders including sale. Appears to work more than once...not sure if items will be cancelled or ban hammer, but it’s working...almost as good as the $13 instapots on amazon an hour ago.10 points

Let me know the next set your family builds so I know to avoid that one.7 points

I'm not sure who the fruitcake is here. The seller, the buyers, or us for not thinking of this sooner. https://www.ebay.com/itm/LEGO-Tesla-Cybertruck-Christmas-2019-Stocking-Stuffer-Hot-Toy-Truck-Elon-Musk/254435845743?hash=item3b3d8ee66f%3Ag%3AQGgAAOSwDF5d3s8d&LH_BIN=1&LH_ItemCondition=10006 points

Looking back on this thread this morning and I see this. The deal of the season swirling all around, BPers F5ing like crazy, multiple tabs opening and closing, Credit Card alerts coming in via texts and phone calls, and this question is asked. So funny.5 points

If you think that is disturbing, you should see the reindeer barbeque and the elf tossing area! (Also, green will be gone once the village is done... in late Feb.)5 points

There have been several instances where glitches paid with paypal have been honored, whereas normal cc payments just get cancelled....4 points

one lesson I have already taken from this even if those orders get canceled too is Paypal only and always...4 points

Yes, they f*cked up. I had my 2 orders cancelled and used points. I called CS so I could get my points back and the lady stated the LL14 code was an old employee discount code that was no longer valid and shouldn't have been leaked. I received my points back within minutes, so that was nice that I didn't have to wait to get them back.4 points

Well, not quite ALL sets. Some of the notable/new/biggish-ticket items it does appear work on include: 71044 - Disney Train & Station - $231 AC 76139 - 1989 Batmobile - $175 AC 75936 - T. Rex Rampage - $175 AC 10269 - Harley Davidson Fat Boy - $70 AC 21319 - Central Perk - $42 AC - Backordered 42109 - Technic App Controlled Rally Car - $91 AC - Ships Jan 1 60197/60198 - Passenger/Cargo Trains - $112/$161 AC - Backordered Probably best to only order "available now" stuff to have the best chance of it shipping.4 points

Can we stick to the subject here. Woodn’t it be nice to see what sets could get chopped soon? Don’t want to get burned and miss out on the next round of sets that are getting pruned.3 points

Ironically, I listed the one I had on letgo today for $120. One hour later I see the deal post. My timing is impeccable.3 points

It's been a long time since I've seen so many items on backorder or out of stock on LEGO Shop at Home.2 points

Not entirely true...if you use a certain cash back website you can still get credit for the purchase and 2.5% cash back. This happened several times including the Disney store online debacle this summer. Ordered a Disney Castle, got cancelled, still collected the $21 rebate.2 points

What irks me about all this is I got exactly the same type of deal yesterday on Adidas.com. Difference was, they were advertising getting an extra 30% off including sale items where Lego cancels you and bans you for trying to get such a deal.2 points
-
I saw that too. Pretty classic. We were all newbies at some point that didn’t understand you order as much as you can as quickly as you can.2 points
-
It’s a trap. LEGO group only released the promo code on BrickLink. Bans will follow. Ha2 points

Was up at 3am to pee (9 mos pregnant) and saw the slick deals post before anyone had commented and thanks to everyone being so generous on here thought I would share after I was able to put two orders in. If you are worried about using coupon codes then def don’t order anything online, leave it to the rest of us2 points

This website is great. Wake up to piss at 3:35 am and see a message from site so figure it’s a sale, better check and yep it’s another one.2 points

Built one of many UCS Star Wars ships that I have in storage. Felt good to actually display it. Stand is from WickedBrick.2 points

You're getting to the root of the issue, but it all stems on how TLG wants to grow.2 points

In general, success in getting orders with a glitch from anywhere depends on how quick you pull the trigger and how inconspicuous your order is (read: not qty 99).1 point

Yeah, Until you get the ban hammer. I did that in 2014. I ordered $3K worth of stuff in 20 minutes. Then I got the ban hammer. Just got my buying privileges back this week thanks to a heads up from someone here who noticed they too were able to buy again at Lego.com.1 point

My paypal orders didn’t get cancelled either. In my experience paypal is the best form of payment for a glitch1 point

Overwatch is still popular, not as popular as its peak - But they are also working on Overwatch 2. I also am on the fence on these for similar reasons. But I have gambled on some at 50%, I would definitely armsweep at 70%. They have 6 new sets coming out in 2020, and just dropped a few more in Oct, so the theme can't be doing atrociously. I'll buy them before I buy TLM2 at 50% off, that's for sure On a side note, I don't know what the WoW rights situation is currently, Mega Bloks had sets a few years back, but I wonder if this Blizz/LEGO marriage will eventually lead to WoW sets. It's been rumored.1 point
