I don’t know about any where else, but they have this competition at LLFL. It’s not a ride, it’s a competition of great humiliation It’s tough. You have to hand pump the fire truck across the way. Like the old railroad carts. It’s a pain for one dad to haul 2-3 kids. And then when they lose because their aim for putting out fires is as bad as their aim at the toilet, you get the pump of shame all the way back as your biceps cramp up. Memories...

I believe they did, I don't remember the number thrown out, but I do remember it being higher than the rumored Ideas percentage of 1-2%.

Yeah, that's the 1. Looking at the picture it does not exactly look like Mando's ship but there are similarities. They can expand the body to make it look more like cargo ship and shorten the "wings". Also the the engines do not need to rotate

LEGO should make the Mandalorian ship set for $70-$100. It should not be hard to design as It looks close enough to Bounty Hunter one from back in the day

Now they have moved to a Jan release, they could be saving sets for 2HY. However, with the larger scale, big sets are going to be closer to 200 euros and they are already struggling to sell at 100.

Hello everyone, I'm French, close to my 30 y/o and I played with legos all my childhood. I spent hours on it, making the most powerful robots in the universe. I discovered that we could invest in legos quite recently, and so I bought two boxes that I keep closed and protected. The Ford Mustang, and James Bond's Aston Martin. I do not yet know the mistakes that can be made, which legos should be invested in and which should not, etc. I hope to learn all this by reading you here. If you have tips or topics to read recommended, feel free to list them here. I started with the topics : "Listing Dos and Don’ts for the New LEGO Investor" and "New to Selling Lego? Here is a Basic Materials Guide to Help Get You Started" I think I'm going to buy Batman's car when it will be released. What do you think about this invest ? See you soon on the forum!

I enjoy LEGO as a hobby but I have started selling stuff when I have the opportunity. I would not use LEGO for "investment" purposes though. That is where I buy stock through a broker. Stocks give a better return on your money than selling LEGO after subtracting buy-in - seller fees - shipping costs AND - storage cost, (if any) is hard to make lots of money unless you're doing so on a huge scale. In the USA if you had bought stock in the spring of 2009 and sold it today you would generally see a 300% value increase. (Amazon in 2009 was around $87 / share. Now everyone kicks themselves because it is around $1800 / share.) Now if LEGO ever sold stock...

Well that solves the mystery of where the Obi-Wan minifig will be available. Now to decide what $40+ Star Wars sets to buy Dec 6.

Once again, for US users I highly recommend using your CC via Paypal at Lego SAH. The experience has been 100% seamless on my end over the last year with orders ranging from $40 to $300+. There was one order where SAH put an authorization on Paypal, shipped the order and then tried to complete the charge nearly a month later. That failed and they kept sending me emails about calling them to have the payment processed. Went through on its own eventually...Paypal keeps them on a tight leash.

Keeps me ALIVE. Also, Buy Lego, Sell Lego. Know how to do both well. Learn from mistakes.

Finally watched the 3 episodes. Major Lone Wolf and a Cub vibe in these episodes. These 3 episodes could have been combined to a 1.5 hour pilot episode A few small observations: - Mandalorian armors are better than Imperial one. Mando got shot twice on the shoulder and all he got was a couple of dents on the armor - Mando's new armor only stayed brand new for a few hours, then he got shot on the shoulder - He killed that rhino thing with a knife, really? - The Whistling something / small missile shooter, wasn't that a call back to Rebels? - Is he going to get a new pod / crib for baby Yoda? - I got way too much enjoyment watching Jawas blown up to oblivion.

The new 60255 will pair nicely with my 60148 ATV Race Team. I love 60148, it's got great play value. Taking the truck around the living room, parking it, unloading the ATVs for "local exploration" and being able to pack it up and check out somewhere else. Great fun. I got a bunch on clearance at Wal-Mart for $7 last year, I think it'll end up doing fairly well. Nice looking truck, too.

This is actually good advice that a lot of people overlook. How are you planning on selling these in the future? Just cause you pick up items at a great price and they triple in value down the road, how are you going to sell them to actually take advantage of that? Being in a different country I'm not sure of your options but make sure you research that quite a bit and calculate out how much money off the top is going to go to fee's, shipping and taxes.

Have a sell plan. Buying is easy.

Welcome aboard marneus74!! My view (at this current point in time) isn't there is much "investing" left to be done with Lego. More like buy at a discount and hope it gets back to retail price. That being said buy-in price is key if you do try the investing angle. There are also many members on here who have different investing methods and money can be made, but it's not easy. Read up and you'll see. Good luck:) I like the new Batmobile too, but just for personal build no investment.

Don't call me Shirley, I'm a collector and Lego OWES me. They owe me retiring tags on all the sets that are retiring. They owe it to me to retire sets in the order they released. They owe it to me to retire sets and never bring them back even with a different number and a slightly different piece count. I am a collector and I demand such things.

That time of year. Did these while watching a movie with my wife this morning. On the mantle around the Charlie Brown tree. Will do the train next weekend and run it around the (real) tree. Like to get it up before the family arrives for Thanksgiving.
