Considering the location, you certainly won’t see one person walking out with eight carts, but rather someone bringing their eight wives to push said carts8 points

I see I have a few updates to make, but I will make sure its updating regularly again.4 points

wow this is the first time ever that I have not seen a single set that I want. The Sith tie fighter looks like a kid got 2 Doritos chips and a marble, they then proceeded to made a tie knockoff. Didn't they just make a luke's land speeder 1 year ago? What I would give to get this. Or this or even this4 points

Ok, so doing a little digging uncovered that the Costco with the Voltrons is in Utah. None in my Costco here in Illinois.3 points

I’ve been called worse .. keep this up and I won’t be to share the yet to be filmed Fantastic Beasts movie plot with you .. I’ve seen it and it is great . Just gotta take my word for it3 points

Actually I think we have it pretty good in the UK. Nearly all sets will hit -40% at some point on Amazon, and there's 4 other Amazons to play with if you don't mind paying 3 or 4 quid for postage. Set your target price with at least 6 months of production left, and be patient.2 points

I wish I owned BL with many of you as PAID helpers as well as a fully staffed IT and Admin department. It is embarrassing. ALso, I would raise 3% to 5% to cover costs. Sorry but let's be real 3% is so cheap. It is wonderful, but I woudl rather pay 5% and have better everything AND ADVERTISING.2 points

UCS Prequel sets? WHO in the right mind would want that?! Better buy a third X-Wing/Y-Wing/Snowspeeder/Tie Fighter/Death Star...2 points

I don’t know if it will happen for sure, but if Lego does 30% off Voltron plus double points plus the Christmas Tree, that’s a better deal than the Costco price.2 points

I don´t think too many people will complain about the bigger cars after seeing this. The 2020 models kick the older CITY scale ones out of the park.2 points

As for the tutorial, I really like this one .. its very descriptive and covers a lot of the "shadow" areas that a newbie would not know about. https://theminimillionaire.com/making-money/the-ultimate-guide-to-selling-lego/1 point

Yo Cray, just because I currently prefer the 6stud over the 8, does not mean i live in an alternate reality. In fact, my preferences and choices are my reality, making your reality an alternate one. I do not disregard common sense or facts. I am a speed champion fanatic however and nothing of the 8 wides have convinced me to change over. The lambo does deserve a wider stance, so the 8 wide actually serves the huracan set well. The the 60's fastback in 6 wide is appropriate next to the Huracan, so maybe a mix would be good, based on the actual scale between the cars within the SC line. So maybe the 8wide could have a place in my heart, its just when a company decides to white wash a product, one has to be skeptical for the reasons. The claim for more detail also comes with more pieces, so it would appear to be a finacial one in this case. Also, i would have hoped for more detail on this wonderfully curved supercar. The square angles completely make this a miss for me. Box art is top notch, per usual.1 point

Out means out! Asda, Tesco, Smyths and Argos have had some stellar deals over the last few years but now that the UK is very much 1.15 islands on their own and without Tesco Direct and TRU, it´s normal that deals are not what they were.1 point

Bricklink is having issues right now - getting 504 Gateway Errors most of the time. Front page still loads fine, but nothing else seems to load reliably (or at all).1 point

I haven't done it often, but the couple of times I've called on "call to check" items, I was able to buy 1-2. If you're only looking for one, can't hurt to call.1 point
-
It means you have to call them to check if they have stock. Typically happens when stock levels are down to the last 1 or 2 items or there has been a return.1 point

PR has been around for 5 years. We have all had more than ample time to buy it, lol. You would think LEGO would keep the tag on it if they had a bunch of them to sell, or god forbid they have a sale on them. But it would be hard to imagine that there are piles of these sets still in warehouses. However, the big 3 still have them listed at around original asking price and don't have the low stock tag on them, so who knows what will happen.1 point

WOW! Checked one of my recent $5 codes and it came up as $45! Just bought the new MF to let the kids build....the current 20% discount combined with 10% R Club and this $45 coupon results in a 50% off discount! Sweeeeeeet ?1 point

Exactly.. I have the very same feeling.. those insisting on keeping up with 6-studs chassis will sooner or later realize that its absolutely normal in other spheres of modelling industry (such as 1:xx car models or plastic models of everything and anything) that there are always various scales 1:16.. 1:25 etc.. This thing is a pure beauty.. lets hope that LEGO does not overflood the market that it ends up for 8 bucks in the trash corner of Walmart.1 point

For those that received cancellation coupon codes, check the actual value of the coupons in the cart. Most of mine were quoted at $5-$10 in the emails, however i just found out 2 are actually $45 each... Was just making a purchase intending to use on a small $20 set for in-store pickup, and bam it came up as $45 discount, checked the rest and 2 of them came up as that, nice unexpected find haha. Issue with these coupon codes is that if they take your order below $50, it doesn't give the free shipping, so I've been using in store pickup when available. Edit: Make that 3 $45 coupons, they seem to all have been the most recent ones received.1 point

Four "books" ranging in piece count from 100-170ish. Looks like they are hinged together by technic pins. Kids can mix and match covers. I wonder if LEGO is aiming at a lower age because the whole "princess" phase is fairly short. At age 4, the kids are still trying to figure out what they like. By age 10/11 my daughter was already moving away from princess stuff. I could see parents getting all four "books" for their children and although I would consider $20 a bit high for what you get, it's a relatively easy buy-in for parents. Kind of at that "birthday party" price range too.1 point

Don't call me Shirley, I'm a collector and Lego OWES me. They owe me retiring tags on all the sets that are retiring. They owe it to me to retire sets in the order they released. They owe it to me to retire sets and never bring them back even with a different number and a slightly different piece count. I am a collector and I demand such things.1 point

Bricklink Castle sold via eBay for $349.99 BIN + shipping on buyer ($35). Appears to be freight forwarding to someone in China through Portland, OR. I had it listed at $389.99 + ship for a while and I was tired of sitting on it. I only bought one originally anyway and I have a bunch of Bricklink orders to place to continue building my amusement park. Also sold The Lego Story for $190.1 point
