  1. Well it was a few weeks ago now but wanted to share. Secured a vintage LEGO castle collection on Craigslist. 99.9% of every vintage castle sets ever released (plus some doubles, 105 sets total), all the western indian sets, bunch of Heroica, bunch of random instructions, pieces, minifigures and boxes. Well cared for from a collector who decided to move on. The crown jewel is a pristine boxed Yellow Castle. Been hunting for that one for a looooong time. Currently re-examining my life to determine how the heck I got to this point

  4. So it's only the size of a Lego clock? I love those. I have a Batman Movie Joker next to my bed, and my 6yo boy has a Stormtrooper next to his. They are such shieet 80s-style clocks but the minifigs look cool. But I digress... if this thing is no bigger than the clock, what were they thinking? I thought it'd be twice the size of a clock. What a rip off!

  5. Recently I bought the 75082 TIE Advanced Prototype for $10 at a flea market complete with the minifigures. It pairs nicely with the 8017 Darth Vader's TIE Fighter. The thing I like about the prototype set is the mechanism that shoots the flick missiles as opposed to manually shooting them that is more commonplace on other sets. I also recently bought the Pet Shop modular for $100 complete and with the instructions on Craigslist for my daughter who now has her own room (she was sharing a room with her twin brother). She incorporated the series 19 pooper scooper minifigures in it nicely!

  6. I haven't seen anything in the T&C that indicated there is a limit. I've placed 20-30 orders under that promotion in the last few days.

  9. If someone wants to screw you on Ebay, it's going to happen, regardless of how you list it. I have found that being careful how you ship, packing stuff well, and not sending out junk is the best policy for Ebay. I have never had negative feedback or a return on Ebay. Edit: one return.....a new Northface hoodie that someone wore to a bonfire and then returned it to me smelling like smoke and said it was too small.

  12. Starting tomorrow, lego are asking us to pay $180 for a clock sized wooden minifig, that doesn’t tell the time. So how long HAS pot been legal in Denmark?

  15. Don't forget that the DKK price includes VAT (often 20% and up in Europe) and the US price doesn't. Taking that into account makes both prices equal.

  16. Lol... how is this bundle regularly $229.78?!? Wooden Minifigure = $120 Minifigure display = $30 Series 19 minifigure = $4 Am I missing something? Even the sale price of this bundle is $50 more than what the individual pieces cost.

  17. Word is they wanted to add dragons, have a ton of incest, and end every episode on a huge downer.

  18. Care Corner is complete. Total cost was $136.03. This doesn't include the spares from bulk lot purchases in the past that cleaned up most of the bricks... because old spares are free, right? I had purchased a $155 lot that had the first floor, but it arrived smelling like death and cigarettes, so it went back. The real winners of the picture though are the dragons from our "let's take apart all the dragons and build them again" weekly fun. The two headed dragon my toddler inspired "two head's on the dragon, daddy" earned the spot on the Cafe Corner.

  19. Experiencing the biggest, newest sets built and displayed in good lighting will inspire you to buy a set you previously had not considered for investment... and at times compel you to open at least one and build them yourself.

  21. Local Facebook marketplace is the route to go with sets like these. Cash sale, buyer picks up, and no selling fees.

  22. Hello, I honestly don't think these are worthy or reselling. You might get a few dollars for either.

  23. Just received my Speed Champions sets and green base plates for $10 gift card from Target.com.... in a garment bag. Least to say both SC sets had been crushed. This is unacceptable. Local Target was thankfully able to replace them, but they admitted the bag is for clothes, not LEGO. So Target.com buyers beware...
