Walmart order from today got shipped after the 2 limit order started. Will place another order in a bit to see if the manual reviews are indeed over.... Sent from my SM-N975U using Brickpicker Forum mobile app1 point

Sounds suspiciously as if we bought from the same seller. He’s on my least favorite store list. Not going to buy from him again. To get the smell out, I bought some scented dryer sheets, put three or four of them into a ziploc bag with the offending parts and put it out in the garage for a couple of weeks. They were fine after that.1 point

LEGO is already doing the Disney re-release model. HP has been re-releasing everything under their banner even without Disney's involvement1 point

I am guessing that your seller probably bought them used from another person who smokes. The seller is probably a smoker as well. I can tell you that smokers do not notice the smell of cigarette smoke. So even though your seller might have never smoked inside their house they couldn't detect the smell of smoke on the Lego. I smoke, but I don't smoke in my house or vehicles. I sold a used set once on Ebay and the buyer wrote me about the smell of cigarettes even though I had never smoked around the set. I sent a refund and he returned the set. Ever since then I was every used set I buy for resale just it case it smells and I don't notice. It's nice for what it is, but trees are the Christmas/Winter version of City helicopters.1 point

Lockwood Estate was a surprisingly fun build. I'm going to steal that window technique for future MOCs. I'll end up putting this in my city, I like it arranged like it is with less of a sprawling mansion look left-to-right and more of a Creator Expert modular look. Thank you Wal-Mart clearance for $64. I could see why buying several of these would be great for a large MOC given all those light tan colors. I'll probably end up taking off those two brown dinosaur exhibits on the sides.1 point

Alert Alert Alert Wal-Mart appears to have put a max of only 2 per any Lego set now. Hope this doesn't stick but I feel this day has been looming for quite a while.0 points

I tried to jump on ordering 2... got all through check out and then it said "out of stock". Doh! I refresh and it says "3 available" so I think "AWESOME!" and rush to order the price looks the same $279... then I get and email confirmation that I just ordered from some 3rd party vendor... 1 set for $279! OMG... damn the small font on the Walmart phone app and my excitement to get a deal. No way to cancel the order online, crossing my fingers the walmart rep's email to the vendor will work. =(0 points
