  1. I got light kits for the Haunted House and the Fishing Store for my birthday. Love them. Also got the Corner Garage, but haven’t built it yet. Sent from my iPhone using Brickpicker Forum

  2. As a best practice when I look to gather information about any set I like to go to the music department. Their computer screens are more customer friendly & you can see all warehouse inventory levels in the bottom center of the screen.

  3. Toys R Us Canada just loaded a bunch of different retired Brickheadz on clearance. Just picked up a pile of Mickey & Minnies for $6.98, Harry Potter & Hermione $6.98 and $9.98 for the set with the owl ,as well as retired Star Wars Brickheadz for $6.78 and $7.98. Iron man is only $7.98.

  6. This is true. I myself have had issues in the past, even being investigated by their loss prevention department, but have never been suspended online from b&n. I approach b&n in a kamakazi way which is different from how I approach every other store. Since there's a limit of 5 online, which is completely stupid, it really wouldn't matter to me if they banned me online when I can buy 100 units online at Target & Walmart. I really haven't had any problems with using the gift cards in stores. In fact I have so much venom for past experiences with b&n I'd probably welcome any flagging/confrontation they would want to have with me.

  10. Yes. I’ve been flagged for using discounted gift cards. Manager came over and OK’d it. Apparently there have been internal emails alerting the stores to be diligent.

  11. I haven't seen any of these left in stores as they all retired. Toys R Us online must of been clearing out old stock . I originally searched Brickheadz looking for the Ghost and came across the Star Wars and Super Heroes that I didn't see yesterday. After ordering a few of each Star Wars and Iron Man sets I refreshed and the Mickey, Minnies, and Harry Potter sets appeared at $6.98 each. Was able to grab 25 of these in total before for they went out of stock.

  18. Care Corner is complete. Total cost was $136.03. This doesn't include the spares from bulk lot purchases in the past that cleaned up most of the bricks... because old spares are free, right? I had purchased a $155 lot that had the first floor, but it arrived smelling like death and cigarettes, so it went back. The real winners of the picture though are the dragons from our "let's take apart all the dragons and build them again" weekly fun. The two headed dragon my toddler inspired "two head's on the dragon, daddy" earned the spot on the Cafe Corner.

  19. I work via specific scenarios that I plan beforehand. I sold about 75% of my holdings untill the 2017 peak and bought most of it back at a lower price in 2018. Still have considerable holdings, but used most of my fiat winnings to buy plastic bricks and most importantly an actual brick building to live in. Used most of my knowledge to get a master degree and managed to get my graduation thesis on bitcoin mining published in a peer reviewed journal last year. I believe blockchain is about more than just some speculation so will stay invested in it. I think it is the next iteration of the internet. Of my total assets it is about 25% now, but that is down from about 95% in 2017 since I started with almost nothing. As a new entrant I would recommend people to never invest what they cannot miss and even then not more than 10% of their assets. I'm a risk taker so I'll go for 25%
