  1. Standard practice these days. Nearly everything hits 20% off at Walmart/Amazon pretty quick after release. Many sets even start 20% off there. Just shows that your average retailer understands what people are willing to pay for something more than Lego does.

  2. It's pretty simple...Stephanie is a total and complete perv. I wouldn't be surprised if her next vehicle an ice cream truck or building was a candy shop.

  3. I think the movies were just not that good. The prince of persia middle east connection would have made the sands of time game in 2003 quite an issue as 9/11 was only just two years before. It sold very well and within a decade led to a crappy movie. The old western themed sets and lone ranger ones will probably not age well, I'm afraid. As an investor I would take that into account when purchasing. I just hope people will not start about the friendly portrayal of pirates being insensitive to their victims...

  4. If there is one thing I’ve learned from here , is that lightning rarely strikes twice unfortunately.

  5. Went into my Local TRU today and saw they had a box of those patches. Asked about it and he gave me two of them for my kids..

  6. I contacted Seller support to fix this ridiculousness. Hopefully someone else takes one for the team and does the same for the next listing that gets mis-categorized.

  7. Just a heads up if you also sell internationally on the Mexico amazon platform. Starting a few weeks ago you can go to a seller's storefront on that platform and the website displays the store owners USA name (or LLC name), address, and phone numbers. Brands and companies hired by brands have been using this info to send cease and desist letters, serve lawsuits etc as alot of US sellers also sell globally on Mexico. I don't see a way around this so we pulled all of our Mexico listings and are sticking to the USA and Canada for now.

  8. I started with some Star Wars I did a few small batches of Lego Advents a couple years ago and I've seen that the continual refreshes (refresh word used liberally) make these a bit of a blur each year. A Star Wars, City, or Friends Advent from two years ago could be swapped with this years calendars and you might not even notice a significant difference. Harry Potter on the other hand might be a wild card since this is the first year. If this is the first of many years to come of refreshes, I feel the value may only just be ok. If they don't release a new one next year or the following, this could definitely be a winner even if it looks like there is considerable inventory around at stores. .

  9. Woah, yeah, that actually 100% explains why they didn't choose it. That's a pretty great knock off set, the minifigs aren't awesome, but otherwise if it were Lego branded he would probably be screaming about how awesome it is.

  10. Not retirement news but Speed Champions is moving to 8 studs wide design going forward. I wonder how that will affect the previous smaller sets.

  12. I think this one has to do with child exploitation. She is carrying crates and stuff...as a kid character.

  13. Agreed, it’s also pretty much a death sentence for this set investment wise. Sent from my iPhone using Brickpicker Forum mobile app

  16. Growing up, I could never mistake sesame street for the electric company. Good boys & girls watched sesame street, the electric company was far too edgy.

  17. It appears that I'm not going to be able to fix this listing. I got the reply below from Amazon seller support. I understand your concern is regarding ASIN: B01KILRLS4 being restricted. I have contacted our catalog team and they have request you to provide the following documents: The letter is printed on the manufacturer’s letterhead The letter is signed ASIN(s) UPC/EAN(s) Name of the product A statement of how the product is not subject to the recall. For example, the seller should describe how the corrected product can be differentiated from the recalled version e.g. new serial numbers, manufactured after X day, etc. Unaffected batch codes and lot numbers will not be reinstated until the Amazon recalls team is satisfied that all inventory on the ASIN, regardless of seller, has been removed. Obvisouly, I can't provide their requested info.
