Hello, I honestly don't think these are worthy or reselling. You might get a few dollars for either.2 points

On the contrary: "Limit 20" is very much in line with TLG's latest corrosive business philosophy of maximizing profit at the expense of the perceived collectible value of their product.2 points

My wife and I watched a performance of Elton John's farewell tour. That was solid.2 points

I have been around LEGO long enough to expect some rough edges (especially in regards to subjects of organics). It is unfortunate how getting past the "uncanny valley" around this scale or smaller can be near impossible for even the most creative of builders. For me I can applaud anyone willing to tackle such a challenge and manage to deliver some semblance of recognition in the design. As observed by others, the almost animatronic eyes feel the most foreign not to mention the brick color used for his "skin" does not seem to match the included minifigure's skin tone. In the end I like the build if anything for simply being different than another safe remake/re-release. Could be better perhaps yet at this size I am not seeing many options. Coming soon from LEGO, Five Nights at Freddy's UCS bust builds (when McFarlane Toys is done).2 points

Porg for $45 at Amazon and Walmart for those of you looking to buy what resembles the still born child of Jar Jar Binks and a water fowl.1 point

Cool story. Needs more dragons. ?1 point

They should have included a toe nail clipper instead of a brick separator. Dude has some serious fungal issues on his digits. I guess that's the risk you take when you walk around barefoot on Dagobah. I kind of like it though. The light saber looks good.1 point

A nice set to get on deep clearance for parts to build mountain / desert landscapes. And a large neon green post for part of a MOC roller coaster.1 point

On a normal product, no it's not hard. But there are real LEGO products with no UPCs. A good example is the employee Christmas set from last year. It also makes it difficult to sell genuine LEGO minifigures individually on Amazon. No bar code on those.1 point

What did I do this month? HMMM... Gave my job notice and left my job Sept. 13th. Had a farewell luncheon and leaving after six years. Spent 5 days packing up everything in my apartment and getting rid of many things. I am now the King of Boxes. So many sets...oh dear sweet God. Shipped tons of boxes to my parents' house. They're not amused. At all. Shipped tons of boxes to my new apartment. My wife is slightly amused... Still can't feel my finger tips due to all the taping and packing. Anyone been through this before? Multiple trips to FedEx and USPS to ship stuff because it was cheaper than moving 2,000 miles with a truck, multiple stops and sleeping nights, gas requirements, and food. Didn't take any furniture or gave it all away so it made more sense. Got a new job and starting it October 1. Farewell, New England! Hello, Mountains!1 point

We often give seemingly deceptive sellers way too much credit - Sometimes a seller who appears to be intentionally misleading, is really just stupid.1 point

Finally finished Welcome to Apocalypseburg (70840), I held myself to one bag per day since it arrived from Walmart. Also had my first wrong/missing piece in a Lego set. But I've already got an order in for a replacement. 6258376 - LEFT SHELL 3X8X2 W/BOW/ANGLE. My almost three year old daughter thinks it's very cool and helped me finish it today, then an hour or so later crashed down onto it so I got to rebuild a section of it already. It was the Lego Movies and having a kid that brought me out of my dark ages so it's appropriate that this is the first really big set I've gotten. I really like the movie sets and vehicles because they are made to be Lego rather than adapting something from Star Wars or Marvel, this one is no exception.1 point

I can only imagine your pain. This hurt me just to see the picture. I had a small drawer of Minifig Headgear pieces crash a few months ago and it still haunts me after having to re inventory everything just in case I missed something. This, I can only imagine.1 point
