  6. I love it, looks like my neighbor's house and to a lesser extent my own. The gingerbread people are delightfully weird.

  10. The set wins for the architecture alone in my opinion with being a classic gingerbread property the cherry on top. Who cares about Christmas, I want this in my cityscape year round.

  12. No, just buy 1 starter pack and then a bunch of other ships you like. Seriously find someone selling their collection on Ebay to get the best bang for your buck and you can even use the older rules especillly if you don't get any of the super large ships. The overall rules are similar I believe from one version to the next. I never played the Armada type just the original X-Wing. I believe my brother had around 20-30 total ships in the end.

  14. I've only played Armada and it's fun, but you need 4-6 players for real combat. Love the ships, but they don't resell for much.

  15. I played it for a couple years and my bother used to play in Tournaments with it weekly. We loved the game. Very engaging, very fun and it takes strategy to another level trying to navigate and out-play your opponent. I have many of the 1st round ships and look to get my son into this game soon. As far as reselling, you can always sell you collection on Ebay. I would not plan on making a profit on these though. I can only remember 1 time when a ship could sell for more than MSRP and please note I don't follow every ship or prices on this anymore, bit the Falcon was once bought out every where and you could flip them for 2-3x their MSRP easily until production increased again. This was probably 2-3 years ago. But the game is very fun, expensive, but very fun. They only came out with a 2nd series because some of the ships they made were too big and they needed to revise the rules a little and also to make more money

  16. I actually just got into this game just over a month ago. It is a lot of fun and has a lot of playability. The community is overall really good (look up the xwingTMG subreddit as well as gold squadron videos on youtube) the Xwing game entered version 2 last year and in essence “relaunched” with streamlined rules and more long term balance focus. The miniatures wont hold much value since they are fairly easy to get and there is no “random” nature to what you get. You look into what you want to fly. You buy it and you’re done. So far I play Empire, First order, republic, rebels and scum

  17. The gingerbread family creeps me out for some reason. And how do they make the kid? They bake it?

  19. FWIW: Was in my local LEGO store today picking up some Mr. Redlegs, and in the 20 minutes I spent there 5+ of these sets sold. They were enforcing a strict 1 per customer policy as well. One lady tried buying one extra "for her sister" and got denied. Seems to be a hot commodity.

  20. Although it's not clear that 75522 is actually separate from the droid commander, because it doesn't get a separate line in your cart, possibility your 75253 has 75522 inside. Could be like how some of the lego dimension starter sets had supergirl polybag inside.

  23. Did some fun oldie-but-goody building the past two days. Broke these out of my storage and rebuilt. Forgot how awesome these were. I’ve ordered replacement stickers for the Red Baron. They had pretty much deteriorated. May need to order some for the Sopwith. In better shape, but still brittle. Sent from my iPhone using Brickpicker Forum

  29. I called eBay to let them know this seller was a scammer after reporting the listings. They told me even though it was clear that the items won't actually be shipped, there was nothing they could do until people start submitting INR cases. Seller is still selling without any issues... I'm sure the 20 people who have bought the Falcon's thus far will receive them. I tried to warn them anyways....
