Sold my old one when i bought the new one. Personally like the new one way more. For me it's like a center display piece though, so the better looking one gets the throne, value irrelevant.2 points

Just a personal opinion. Other more experience BP-ers feel free to discuss. Disclaimer: I am gated out for LEGO but (grandfathered) gated in for another category. I thought about upgrade to PRO last year before Q4 for the exact reason (10 cu ft storage). The only thing that pulled me back is the potential "ask for invoice" during the process. I will not be able to provide an invoice if being asked. In my opinion, unless you have invoices available just in case Amazon ask, it does not worth the risk. And I am still in a personal account now. Given how unique/rare an Amazon account that can sell LEGO, I would not take a chance. WRT change from Sole Proprietorship to LLC, similar caution should be applied. Yes, from our prospective, we maybe changing from my sole proprietorship to my LLC. But, from Amazon's prospective, isn't it a change of ownership of the the account? Simply have a new owner set up an LLC and change from your SSN to the LLC's EIN. Voila, the account is under new control..... Maybe the people at sellercentral can provide more insight in this process. Just my 2 cents.1 point

I am considering switching to a Pro plan for the upcoming Holidays. I have a lot of inventory I want to move, and the 10 cu. ft. limitation for the personal plan is too little (plus I would get the benefit of Amazon withholding Sales Tax for me for customers in my own state, which I currently have to deduct from my sales proceeds). I have 2 questions for the pros: 1. Apart from having to submit some sort of an ID to get "re-verified" (and having my listings on hold), are there any other cons to switching to Pro? I assume it won't affect my gated status, correct? 2. I am also considering setting up an LLC to run my business (instead of running this on personal title). Is it easy to update my account to make it owned by my LLC? Should I do this at the same time, or rather sometime later? Or is this impossible without starting a new account?1 point

I went in for the UCS MF. I don't care. I just had to. It was time. Plus, that price is pretty darn good. https://www.shopdisney.com/millennium-falcon-ultimate-collector-playset-by-lego-star-wars-673419267656.html1 point

Went in to muy local LEGO store intending to leave with a copy of Creator Expert modular, "Assembly Square"... Well, So much for the inrtended plan of action, lol. Ended tip leaving with: 42078 - TECHNIC Mack Anthem 42077 - TECHNIC Rally Car (saved 10% because the box was "blemished" ever so slightly! 60195 - CITY Arctic Mobile Exploration Base (saved 20% because of "blemished' ever so slightly box... and perhaps because it will be retiring? Not quite sure!) 75895 - Speed Champions - New White 1974 Porsche 911 Turbo 3.0 ( Really cool model/remake in new color of 75888/Lime Green model) Brickheadz 2-pack of Mr and Mrs. Claus for $9.98 and, finally.. 3 - Bumble Bee Brickheadz, no charge, based on what I spent. Needless to say, Assembly Square will have to hold off now until September! Oh yeah, forgot, to CMF's of Disney, series 2, one of Huey and the other Dewey!1 point

Managed to grab two. I have two of each set, so I’ll work out whether to bundle them or not1 point

Surprisingly, I had a “missing pieces” return of a 41118 Friends Supermarket last month that came back still sealed and pristine.1 point

This typically happens if there was a small change to the set during its production life, e.g. a box art change, a box size change, or perhaps an element substitution. The Mini Cooper had 2 box versions, and the old box showed up as Unavailable while the new box was Available. I am just not aware of such a change for this particular set1 point

I finally got started on my amusement park project and thought I would use this thread as a place to post updates periodically. The first challenge was getting a 4x8 piece of particle board home atop my RAV4. I decided to use a couple of 2x4s with some cutouts to set atop my roof rack. Since it was temporary I just tied them down with twice. Once I bought the particle board it was pretty tough getting it on top of my roof by myself but it worked out eventually and I strapped it down. While driving home I was able to minimize at least some of the lift under the board by opening the sunroof and the rear two windows, that let the air blow right through. Still, I didn't want to be over-confidence, I spent 90% of the trip home at around 20 mph and never breached 30 mph. Once I got home I was looking at the 1/2 landing staircase leading to the basement and I realized it was dimensionally impossible to get the full 4x8 particle board down in one piece... So, at least I saved some money getting the full sheet (buying in bulk, essentially versus Qty 2 4x4 sheets). Got the circular saw out and cross cut the 4x8 sheet down the center and was able to move the now 4x4 boards one at a time. The whole build is nothing more than 2x4s and a sheet of particle board. My 6-year-old was a great helper, she had a lot of fun. I had a couple extra non-rotating caster wheels so two of the legs I cut short and put those casters on to make it easier to move into the middle of the basement and work around the perimeter of the table. The main design concept is to have a train running the perimeter with some of the creator expert amusement part sets standing out as the key rides. A few fun additions will be included such as the Lego Ideas Space Rocket Boy set and the BrickLink AFOL Hot Shots set. When I put all of the sets on top of the table it filled out nicely. However, last night I started building some of the smaller sets (People Pack Fun Fair, Bean There Donut That, etc.) and I realized the built sets were smaller than the boxes they came in. I was clearing volume off the table in terms of boxes not but 1:1 replaceing them with built sets... I am going to have a lot of gap filling to do with walking paths, street lights, shrubbery, etc. Covering the top of the table in green baseplates is also going to be expensive. Amazon has them at $5.69 a piece right now so it's a good time to bite, but I'll need Qty 50 of them and that's close to $300 right there! Anyways, just thought I'd share my progress. Feel free to comments, ask questions, etc. I also have plans for a centralized control panel that for each motorized right will have two switches (one to turn it on, and one to light it up). More to come...1 point

I helped smooshed an Elsa minifigure for a grandmother for her granddaughter. Sometimes our talents are useful not only for our own endeavors, but to help others. She was very appreciative and I explained how I knew it was Elsa.1 point

Yesterday my family and I went to BrickFair at Chantilly, VA. What an awesome day! Our favorite family activity was definitely bingo and we were fortunate enough to win an exclusive towel, and two polybags, Slave I and a Kingdoms one. I went to see classic space, pirate and castle sets and got my fill and more. I talked to one of the space sets designers and asked him where he got his hard to find pieces. Some of the yellow trans-clear windows came from Batman movie sets, and I wonder why I did not think of that! The schooner is a dream of mine, but out of my budget and I drooled over the castle sets with their original boxes. The Guarded Inn is a fan favorite. I found out the castle sets are a combination from childhood, yard sales and estate sales.1 point
