Return rate is pretty high on sets like these too. Grandma gets Timmy a 300 dollar set, she expects a big box and instead get this little thing (which falls apart easy). Return. Or you get a collector who expects a mint box...I still take the gamble but often enough i just get back a beat box (maybe used) to sell on ebay for a loss. $130 cheapest U.S. seller if you want a proper NA version (which matches the listing) + shipping btw1 point

I have all my un-built lego organized by how I like to build. For instance, slope grilles and flat grilles go together to save space, and they make sense to go together. Single cheese slopes and 1x1 tiles also go together as well as 2x1 cheese slopes and 2x1 tiles. Since like others here, I dont have the time or space to separate each lego on its own. I keep my lego separated based on what makes the most sense to me.1 point

probably because not everyone is allowed to sell on amazon. Anyone can sell on ebay.1 point

I organize my completed sets in appropriately sized, close-able plastic bags. I organize those by theme and have as ingle theme per large plastic storage bin. For my girls, they have a tubs for their princesses and tubs for their Friends sets, those eventually get merged. We allow those on display along with other various sets. I swap out my Speed Champions for Winter Sets on display so those share a bin and are not broken down. More permanent fixtures are the Technic Sets, HP Great Hall and other HP Sets. For my vintage bricks, Ive got those separated by color, and for larger color quantities, by type, in a storage area. However, they are just in bins and I dont know how I would prefer to organize them further. Individual bins seems like too much. My ultimate goal is to actually reorganize those vintage pieces into their respective sets and organize the same way. I do like to build and MOC, but it just isn't a realistic use of the space I have for me to want to get that granular with separation.1 point

Many people don't know about Bricklink, pretty much everyone knows about Amazon. Why people would be selling it for $100 on Bricklink if it sells for that much on Amazon though, that is the real question.1 point

Nice find, it's a cool Lego delivery truck they don't make anymore.1 point

The biggest hurdle is the number of people that know or care about these sets. Overseas demand could be the key, if a person is willing to ship. But, once these get off the front page of Bricklink, I'm not sure there will be huge demand for anything outside of 3-4 sets. We will see shortly. My two castles are still a week away from getting to me. That means there will be a ton entering the market in the next two weeks, I'm assuming.1 point

I’ll be happy to sell at 2x As it stands right now the only resale venues are BrickLink, eBay and the usual market places Lawrence hasn’t “made up his mind” wether or not to allow them listed on BrickOwl. I think he’d rather not. i don’t believe they have UPC’s so can’t list on the other places, and once the glut comes about when wholesale orders are fulfilled I think all but castle will drop in asking price, resale is slow on BrickLink, and that’s with them still on the landing page. When no longer visible then they will become rather obscure. ... or you could be right!1 point

This. The idea is great, but the packaging has too much going on to the point that the boxes do not "pop" among other sets on the shelves.1 point

The difference is the writing. We were clear Emperor was feared in ESB and TLJ. We were also shown Vader was strong. Strong enough to kill Kenobi in SW and toy with Luke in ESB. When he had a conversion of heart, picked up the Emperor in a last ditch effort to save his son, and DIED in the process, we actually root for him. That my friend, was good enough to cover any illogical detail you may find in the original trilogy I was going to write something about ep8 here, but I found that I could not care less about that movie. Ultimately it did not matter anyway.1 point

I finally got started on my amusement park project and thought I would use this thread as a place to post updates periodically. The first challenge was getting a 4x8 piece of particle board home atop my RAV4. I decided to use a couple of 2x4s with some cutouts to set atop my roof rack. Since it was temporary I just tied them down with twice. Once I bought the particle board it was pretty tough getting it on top of my roof by myself but it worked out eventually and I strapped it down. While driving home I was able to minimize at least some of the lift under the board by opening the sunroof and the rear two windows, that let the air blow right through. Still, I didn't want to be over-confidence, I spent 90% of the trip home at around 20 mph and never breached 30 mph. Once I got home I was looking at the 1/2 landing staircase leading to the basement and I realized it was dimensionally impossible to get the full 4x8 particle board down in one piece... So, at least I saved some money getting the full sheet (buying in bulk, essentially versus Qty 2 4x4 sheets). Got the circular saw out and cross cut the 4x8 sheet down the center and was able to move the now 4x4 boards one at a time. The whole build is nothing more than 2x4s and a sheet of particle board. My 6-year-old was a great helper, she had a lot of fun. I had a couple extra non-rotating caster wheels so two of the legs I cut short and put those casters on to make it easier to move into the middle of the basement and work around the perimeter of the table. The main design concept is to have a train running the perimeter with some of the creator expert amusement part sets standing out as the key rides. A few fun additions will be included such as the Lego Ideas Space Rocket Boy set and the BrickLink AFOL Hot Shots set. When I put all of the sets on top of the table it filled out nicely. However, last night I started building some of the smaller sets (People Pack Fun Fair, Bean There Donut That, etc.) and I realized the built sets were smaller than the boxes they came in. I was clearing volume off the table in terms of boxes not but 1:1 replaceing them with built sets... I am going to have a lot of gap filling to do with walking paths, street lights, shrubbery, etc. Covering the top of the table in green baseplates is also going to be expensive. Amazon has them at $5.69 a piece right now so it's a good time to bite, but I'll need Qty 50 of them and that's close to $300 right there! Anyways, just thought I'd share my progress. Feel free to comments, ask questions, etc. I also have plans for a centralized control panel that for each motorized right will have two switches (one to turn it on, and one to light it up). More to come...1 point

Jurrasic world indoraptor set new at walmart in pristine box for .03. I couldn't believe it. I have two other stores with sets at this price I will be visiting in a few hours.1 point

I would be shocked if it didn't come with features and figures. Maybe even a micro Falcon to hide on the back and disengage with the garbage.1 point
