  1. Seeing details of the new ISD reminded me about what I recently did with my 10030. I bought a coffee table specifically for displaying the new UCS Falcon but I have yet to find time to build it. A couple of weekends ago, I decided to put my built ISD there in the meantime. Looks good for now.

  2. Makes my 16 lb bulk lot w/a small mix of megablox/matchbox cars sound like a nightmare. Although it was a slight pain b/c I Needed to basically wash the whole bulk. Some gently, others are still soaking. Paid $50 off Craigslist, mostly for the GE in the pics. Confirmed to be 98% there minus the minifigs. That's ok tho, it's for my personal collection main street. Minus the GE, after sorting out some off brand and other small toys & junk, I was left w/about 14lbs of bulk including minifigs w/no manuals, of which have already identified imperial assault 75152, 75137 Carbon freezing chamber & 41051-1: Merida's Highland Games w/ figs. Most likely will recoup my money in the near future on sets I pull and sell, but in general I'd rather not do the cleaning/sorting. However, My time for a free Grand Emporium seems like an ok trade off. Pics of the listing included, more to come once building commences?

  3. Yeah, it would. I mean, he looks like if Yoda had sex with something from Five Nights at Freddy's. You can't unsee it. Maybe I'm in the minority, but 7194 is better. I cannot believe somebody signed off on how the eyes look. They ruin the entire set.

  4. Thank you, this post is "what did you buy", walmart has 20 sets at .03 all around me, many are phantom stock. This set was on the shelf with a full price sticker wrapped in a spider device. Regardless it was in pristine shape. The check out guy didn't even blink when scanning it. I have one more store I will hit this evening, i hate driving to a store and the stock is all wrong. I don't have time to scan and list receipts, just reporting the facts. Yes I have been on here forever it seems, sold 100k of sets this year and still have a ton.

  10. The guy has been on here for years and has no need to lie so please stop assuming. If you want you can validate his post on other sites yourself just try your zip code and sort results by price. This set has been picked clean at $30 and below nationally that is why it is selling for $75 on eBay.

  14. I would be happy with the scraps that we get from those who have access to inside info about retirement dates. That information is hard to come by and highly valuable for obvious reasons so it is not surprising that the lucky few are not champing at the bit to throw it out for all to see. Although there is a good spirit of sharing on this board, there are limits.

  15. Yoda, the new face of Zoloft. He looks like he's been hit by many of the side effects... Common side effects of Zoloft include: diarrhea, dizziness, drowsiness, dyspepsia, fatigue, insomnia, loose stools, nausea, tremor, headache, paresthesia, anorexia, decreased libido, delayed ejaculation, diaphoresis, ejaculation failure, and xerostomia.

  17. My 7yo kid loves them as well. His favorite is the AT-AT. Building Lego, having missiles to shoot at them, and then having them blow up or tip over ticks all the boxes for kids around that age. We are definitely not the target market for those specific sets.

  18. Conversely, my 5 year old couldn't be more excited about those hoth sets and the endor set because he gets to fire missiles at real targets and blow things up. So it's just possible we're not the target market.

  19. I borrowed exciters time machine and found a mom n pop with 30+ nice sets 0-50% off, all clearanced out of the big stores last year. The 12 sports centres were $20, marked that price since May lol
