  1. Finally got into the selling game this month as I had to shift a Prime Day camera and there was a 50% final value fee offer. Sold the camera and started listing some things I knew were worthwhile. My first sale was a 21018 UN Headquarters for $80 which was nice because it was also the first set I "invested" in back in January of 2016, then a Dimensions Supergirl for $40, and a Benny and Sweet Mayhem Brickheadz pair for $70. Made a tidy profit on all those, but today I sold a 10811 Duplo Backhoe ($15 RRP) for $55 that I paid for with SYWR from Kmart back in 2017. TODAY I GOT MY MONEY FOR NOTHING AND MY BRICKS FOR FREE.

  4. UPS is better all around here, more consistent, less damage, nicer buggies. We don't have FedEx or UPS stores here.

  5. FedEx is just better all around. UPS stores around me don't even open until 8AM vs FedEx at 630. It is much harder to drop off shipments before work.

  6. I helped smooshed an Elsa minifigure for a grandmother for her granddaughter. Sometimes our talents are useful not only for our own endeavors, but to help others. She was very appreciative and I explained how I knew it was Elsa.

  7. Yesterday my family and I went to BrickFair at Chantilly, VA. What an awesome day! Our favorite family activity was definitely bingo and we were fortunate enough to win an exclusive towel, and two polybags, Slave I and a Kingdoms one. I went to see classic space, pirate and castle sets and got my fill and more. I talked to one of the space sets designers and asked him where he got his hard to find pieces. Some of the yellow trans-clear windows came from Batman movie sets, and I wonder why I did not think of that! The schooner is a dream of mine, but out of my budget and I drooled over the castle sets with their original boxes. The Guarded Inn is a fan favorite. I found out the castle sets are a combination from childhood, yard sales and estate sales.

  8. I just sold the Bricklink Antique Fire Truck on Ebay for $375 to an international buyer. Free shipping. Shipping to Kentucky's eBay shipping program will run me $10. Not bad.
