Every time there is a new post in this thread I click on it and it just hope that no one is talking about something I sold or am selling. Is it just me or do others do the same thing?
I helped smooshed an Elsa minifigure for a grandmother for her granddaughter. Sometimes our talents are useful not only for our own endeavors, but to help others. She was very appreciative and I explained how I knew it was Elsa.
That happened to me but with a sales clerk. She walked up to me with anger in her eyes thinking she was cathcing me in the act of stealing things. Granted, smooshing does sound like I'm opening the packs. After I explained it to her, her anger turned to puzzlement.
To be specific and clear, what they are referencing is eBay's Feedback and Extortion policy. I've linked it so you can read. I've invoked it in cases where a buyer has asked for money back or threatened negative feedback and won each time. Those buyer accounts no longer exist, so I'm guessing it means ban. Simply put don't do it.
That's awesome. I love doing the same when I'm at Target or some other store and I see some kid trying to find a specific figure. I've done it for adults too!
My local amusement park Adventureland has an "A-Train" ride and this Disney train set reminds me a lot of this train. It brings back fond memories of riding this as a kid. I particularly like the car with the blue and white awning.
Not today, but on Saturday I completed my first ever triathlon, an Olympic distance race completed in 2 hours, 56 minutes, and 6 seconds. Finished 51st out of 102 people, and 3rd in my age group of 40-44 year old men.
Now, time to transition to marathon training for a race in October.
The guy who stocks the toy area at Target sees me smooshing minifigure bags often enough that they leave me alone now. Sometimes offers to get a new box from the back so I can find specific ones easier too.

not really a deal but apparently you can buy Disney Series 2 Minifigures by the case now
I'm not surprised LEGO is trying to sell the Disney series 2 minifigs by the box. IMO, series 2 is really underwhelming because of the ducks and reskins of Mickey and Minnie from the ideas set. Hopefully this is not a one-time thing and LEGO offers to sell complete boxes of their minifigures series moving forward.
Welp. Wasn't expecting that. Just sold one on Ebay for 449.99...to our buddy toyscentric. Mixed feelings on that but being gated myself at Amazon, cany complain. 3 left for me... Sent from my SM-G955U1 using Brickpicker Forum mobile app
This is why I always add a disclaimer on my orders that items may have minor box damage or shelf wear. I am aware that it eliminates certain buyers, but I feel it prevents a lot of problems too.
Hilarious eBay message exchange last night over $15 polybag sale:
My bog standard message to buyers after a purchase sent it hundreds of times:
Hi and thank you,
I’ll drop this set off at my local post office tomorrow morning.
Regards
Was not expecting this reply:
"What do you mean by your local post office?"
Huh WTF?
Hi,
I will hand this over the counter at my local post office (Stafford Heights 4053) tomorrow morning.
Regards
Thinking that would be the end of it, Oh farck I get this reply and realise this going down hill fast:
"I live in Viewbank, in Melbourne. You will have to send it to me. You advertised free delivery so you will have to send it to me."
OK so she thinks she'll have to travel 1700kms (1000 miles) to collect this item from my post office.
Hi,
Apologies for any confusion.
I will be sending this set to you tomorrow morning.
My message was to let you know I will be posting your set to you tomorrow. I lodge my outgoing mail at a post office.
I also wanted to convey that I post items as quickly as possible.
Regards
Finally
Yes I was confused as I thought I had to pick it up from your post office.
Thankyou for getting it sent to me asap
I would add her to my BBL - but anyone who pays $15 for a Chima polybag is a highly valued buyer.
