There are some really creative MOCs for this movie. I was hoping TLG would have little more fun with this set. They can get away with a little more on a D2C set than a standard play set.3 points

Gross. I’ve been budgeting $250 for this set and this is a pass and a half. Just looks like that Legend of Isla Nublar Dino mech got a little bigger and 4x as expensive. Park entrance is alright but not worth a giant set like this. Where is the visitor center? $250 visitor center w/entrance way and classic figures would have been a slam dunk. Sad!2 points

25% discount is decent for an architecture set. For me the issue here is that I don’t think it is worth buying it international for 25%. The same discount will come sooner or later on that side of the pond. As far as the set being a stinker it has a good rank on Amazon in the toy category and for near retail price. Yes, the flat face is ugly but people seem to be buying the set nonetheless.2 points

Just finished the Tumbler. I built the Batpod a month or so ago (to prepare for the Tumbler) Very satisfying build; pictures just do not do these sets justice...the Tumbler is MASSIVE and those rear wheels (bigger than the fronts and four of them). I alread have the Batpod under glass and until I find a suitable covered display, I wrapped the Tumbler in surran wrap...lame (I know), but it's a dust magnet like no other.2 points

We built LEGO system 6416 Poolside Paradise and 6411 Sand Dollar Cafe from the 1992 Paradisa Subtheme. Picked them up from Goodwill and wanted to see if they were complete before we sell them. Both complete except 6411 is missing 1 minifig and its box. Much better than expected. The baseplates are crazy! Sent from my iPhone using Brickpicker Forum mobile app2 points

Have to say initial thoughts are I'm super dissapointed in this. Why make a gimmick set? Would have preferred a minifig scale set of a park section (including gate) and the main building of the film (forget what it was called). The tiny cutaways in the back of this do no justice to their respective scenes for me, from the front those gates are very plain, and missing some minifigs like the kids and the hunter guy. The t rex while I'm sure is a clever build looks a bit cutesy and derpy to me especially on the back pic. And there is STILL no jurrasic Park jeep.1 point

We built the 7166 Imperial Shuttle (circa 2001) which we got in a bulk lot a while back but never built or sold. This is my oldest SW build to date, and there were definitely lots of build technique differences between this and the newer shuttle builds. Some similarities as well...especially on the wings. Finally built our first Imperial Star Destroyer (6211) that we picked up a while ago on the cheap. The set was bigger than I expected and larger than the 75055 version. It was a decent build...though there were some difficult parts due to poor printing colors in the instruction books that my kids needed some help figuring out.1 point
