  5. creator pirate roller coaster has 110 fewer pieces and costs $10 less. fallingwater only 814 pieces almost all beige and no minfigures - - $99.99. same msrp as this. minecraft ocean monument -1118 pieces - msrp $119. only 31 more pieces than this set with an msrp $20 higher. 10266 doesn't seem particularly expensive to me and is squarely aimed at adult buyers.

  6. Was able to triple dip at the Lego store today. They still had Avengers towers and AT-AT give away. Bought $75 worth of Star Wars and $75 worth of Marvel and got both promos as well as the Rocket ship ride.

  9. I agree with you. I'm not sure where I'd take this outside to do off-roading. When I had a home-built off-road RC car, one accidental clip of a wall or rock would usually break a tie-rod. That would be really annoying if I kept breaking LEGO parts. Although this might not go as fast but then what would be the point of it? And at $230 MSRP, I think this is an easy pass until a deep sale.

  10. Love it! - It's great to see someone having LEGO fun (I miss having LEGO fun). There was a time (for many years), when every day was Christmas.

  11. Mine arrived today and it included an extra patch somehow. Reminded me of that Monopoly card "Bank error in your favor". The lunar lander and rocket ride appear to be mint; no dents, bends, scratches, nothing. I might have to order another. One to keep, one to build.

  12. I I Haven't built much LEGO as the weathers been awesome. I'm not worried about Bricklink so far so good ,other sets will ship out soon. thanks for the info folks:) Here is a pic of my amusement park currently. Albeit little boring without the humorous/risque or downright UN P.C. mini figure posing that is removed for now. Just sharing, Little messy but Tough getting pics of my whole city, Its quite large and usually cluttered with build in place projects making it IMO less photogenic.

  13. Picked these up for $25 on eBay the other day. No drivers or instructions and a few missing parts, but a great deal on originals. Ordered 3 of the drivers and some parts and instructions on BL already. Planned on keeping the Ferrari and selling the rest, but the Spyder looks great in person, and the McLaren I’m now on the fence about too...

  16. Built Moloch’s Speeder so I could relive that classic seen from Solo. /sarcasm I actually didn’t mind the movie but both these sets only have a brief bit of time in the overall movie. The build was fine, a few interesting parts, but I feel this set is horribly overpriced at the MSRP of $40. Another minifigure would have helped but I don’t feel the end product justifies the cost or that this scene is memorable enough to draw people to this set. Glad I only have one of these to sell.

  19. I live in Virginia Beach. Many of you may have heard about the mass shooting we had last week. There was a plan for everyone in the city to wear blue (the color of Virginia Beach flag) this past Monday. The Walmart nearest to my house, and the closest Walmart to where the shooting happened raised prices on all of their blue T-shirts over the weekend. The cheapest blue shirt in the store was $4.89 before the weekend and by the time I went on Saturday afternoon they all had sticker price tags covering the original price and were now $9.89. Every other color except blue was still $4.89. Sent from my SM-G960U1 using Brickpicker Forum mobile app
