  3. That's the hard thing, determining "acceptable" without knowing RRP and I suspect not knowing is pushing up prices on eBay a bit (and the fact that it hasn't officially been released at all locations yet). PromoBricks stated a price of 100 euros which converts to $111.62 USD, but today The Brick Fan is reporting Legoland California has this available at The Big Shop for $89.95. At $89.95, I'd be willing to pay $120-$130 shipped to avoid traveling 4-hours to the nearest Legoland Discovery Center. If it ends up being super rare and hard to get then I may have to sit this one out. Great year to start creating an amusement park, we've got the Fairground People Pack coming out, this set, the Ideas Rocket Ride set, the BrickLink Hot Shot Carnival set, and the only retired set I would consider (but probably don't need) is the Fairground Mixer. By the way, amusement parks and fairgrounds are different! I had to look up the definitions to: carnival, fair, fairground, midway, festival, amusement park, theme park, etc. I'm enlightened.

  4. "Open the LEGO set, Hal." "I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that." "....What's the problem?" "I think you know the problem just as well as I do." "What are you talking about, Hal?" "This build is too important for me to allow you to jeopardize it."

  7. OH, those emails have not been timed up. Most of mine were removed a bit ago (days, weeks) and already fixed by someone else and the listings are back up. You can click on our account health and see if you you have any "suspected IP" problems and the ones listed are currently delisted.

  11. I got this technic set at a local retailer because I have never seen an all white 42077 Rally Car. I think it is a box printing error but wanted to see anyone had more information on this. It looks like the printer ran out of blue when looking at it from the back. On the back it looks the normal but the buggy front is white but it fades to blue. I did notice the number under UPC was different than the other normal blue box rally car at the store. Really wished the box was in better shape but it is what it is. Can someone weight their sealed 42077 set. I am wondering if the weights are similar. Many thanks for any info on this.

  12. Hahahahaha, I think that is everyone’s question. As long as you are happy with your return, then sell. That really depends on which BH you have. If they go up another $10-$15, will it upset you that much missing out on the additional funds? I don’t think you need to worry about them being re-released and losing money on them that way. Something else to think about, is how long it could take to increase and if you have the space to continue to store them.

  14. My property right now is full of trees, mulch beds and is sloped. It is very difficult to maintain well. The new lot is flat, with a few mature trees and double the size, but it is easier to mow than to edge and weed.

  15. LOL...Not running away. Basically I am building a custom home. It's something I always wanted to do and my LEGO collection is enabling me to do so. The situation with building, packing, moving and everything else will happen sometime next Winter into Spring. Running another LEGO raffle at that time could be tricky, but I am not writing it off. Jeff and I have learned a lot the past 6 months and there us a lot of things happening behind the scenes, all which is good for the site and members. There is a new update coming and other plans to bring more pricing information to resellers and collectors.

  16. My son and I built the overly stickered (24 to be exact) 75887 Porsche 919 Hybrid today. It was a very fun build and I really like the way it looks. He took a few creative liberties with some of extra minifigures. It might be time to have him tested. LOL!
