Just got my Vader Bust in (ordered it on its second time available) yesterday. Outer box was fine, but it looks like someone drop-kicked it in there. Nice, Target. Called customer service and they agreed to refund me the full amount, and get this, I’m supposed to “properly dispose of the damaged product.” If by “properly dispose” you mean build and display, done! Maybe I'm reading it wrong, but it looks like anyone with a Darth Vader bust or LEGO movie Brickheadz is safe.4 points

This story is consistent with others over the years. Seriously, the shelf stockers at Walmart and Target give 0 f*** about LEGO box conditions, why should it be any different at Amazon?4 points

We have had some boxes that do not have three complete sets. It is not norm, but it has definitely happened on this series.3 points

I have 3 viewings lined up already, 2 tomorrow. I'll be watching it at a private screening at midnight tonight, my friend knows the owner of a local theater and he's bringing some friends.3 points

Fairground people pack is legit. I do have to call them out on making the rings actually go over the ducks. I've been to dozens of fairground carnivals and the rings are always rigged to be smaller in circumference than the target. Also, where is the creepy carny?2 points

quality control is and always will be about the weakest link and in most cases, these are the lowest paid employees at the back end...they have more to do about the quality to the end user than pretty much every other hand that touched the item prior. Honestly, if I am hauling 35+lbs merchandize all day for near minimum wage and crap benefits...I would not give a flying turd about crushing a toy box because some end user cares about a sharp corner.2 points

LEGO has just release this statement regarding exculsives: It has become apparent to us at the LEGO Group that you are dissatisfied with the recent launches of regional exclusive products. We’ve received a lot of feedback on the LEGO festival products to mark the Chinese New Year (80101 Chinese New Year's Eve Dinner and 80102 Dragon Dance), the LEGO The Movie 2 Brickheadz (41634 Emmet, 41635 Wyldstyle,n 41636 Benny & 41637 Sweet Mayhem) in the US as well as 75227 Darth Vader Bust. Because of this feedback and concerns from you, our dedicated and most loyal fans, we have decided that regional exclusives launched after May 1, 2019 will become widely available via LEGO Brand Retail stores and LEGO Shop at Home after a limited period of time (3-6 months) of the initial launch. In the following areas we will still be launching products, which will have a certain limitation to availability and production runs: Pilot projects, such as Forma, to check out markets and opportunities without being able to make them widely available. Gift With Purchase campaigns through LEGO Shop at Home and LEGO Brand Retail. Products only sold in certain experiences (for example LEGOLAND, LEGO House & LEGO Brand Retail stores). Special Event Sets (Comic Cons, LEGO Inside Tour).2 points

A post on Reddit: As an employee of Amazon, I encourage that no one orders LEGO off our website. I have been with Amazon for approximately 2 years as a "picker" (the people that physically retrieve the item from one of many bins). Most other pickers and other people from other departments are not extremely careful with product placement. For those of you who don't really care about box condition in the slightest, then by all means disregard this post. But I have seen where multiple bags of dog food or other heavy items are haphazardly thrown onto LEGO boxes and other fragile items... hundreds of times. Just the other day, I saw a Destinys Bounty box with a tear/hole so large I could stick my fist through. The packer didn't bother to tape it up even, just shipped it as is. It's really depressing when I make sure that fragile items get treated as such whereas most people in the warehouse don't really care at all. I have read multiple reviews of other Amazon warehouses where the behavior is exactly the same. So to all reading this, I really urge you not to buy LEGO off our site. I usually do (because of employee discount) and have had luck most of the time, but a surprisingly large amount of "New" sets that get shipped to me come in a pretty beat up condition to where I can tell what **** it's been through. Thanks for reading my post, hope you all have a wonderful day.2 points

It says plain as day that regional exclusives launched after May 1st... I don't get what is so confusing about that... CNY exclusives, TLM2 Brickheadz and Vader Bust were all launched before May 1st, therefore they will not be re-released... if Tabby wants a Vader Bust so badly he can buy one from me on Ebay in a month when prices rise... Dear AFOL Community, It has become apparent to us at the LEGO Group that you are dissatisfied with the recent launches of regional exclusive products. Thank you Ed for extending the raffle and for everyone's generous support ! My son just participated in the TSA competition at TCNJ and all of your support helps to keep programs like this going; we can not thank you all enough!! Next year, the school will be celebrating 150 years and hopefully it will be there for 150 more! One of our retired principals use to say "Have you helped make a difference today?" --- YOU all have helped make a difference in these kids lives!1 point

Y’all are missing the point here. There’s an astronaut on a treadmill with a woman holding a pizza and bullwhip in this people pack. We’re one set away from a people pack celebrating every culture’s weird fetish. Sent from my iPhone using Brickpicker Forum1 point

I had both of these games as a kid, and I know I still have Crossbows and Catapults. I wonder if my parents really thought through those purchases...1 point

I concur with this. On the other hand, I've had people pay full price then send a message saying how much their special needs child is going to enjoy the set. I usually toss in a couple polybags related to the set that was purchased.1 point
