They used a plate for the pizza, if the astonaut was from Chicago, they would have used a round brick; so he's from NY.3 points

Y’all are missing the point here. There’s an astronaut on a treadmill with a woman holding a pizza and bullwhip in this people pack. We’re one set away from a people pack celebrating every culture’s weird fetish. Sent from my iPhone using Brickpicker Forum3 points

My Son is 5 and begs to watch every SpaceX launch on YouTube. These sets will go over VERY well with this new generation of Space Enthusiasts. Falcon Heavy Lego set, yes please!2 points

I concur with this. On the other hand, I've had people pay full price then send a message saying how much their special needs child is going to enjoy the set. I usually toss in a couple polybags related to the set that was purchased.2 points

In my defense, the locations of good Lego stores are not well-hidden secrets like honey hole Walmarts, Targets, and Kohls.1 point

I had a similar experience last week at the Concord Mills Lego store when I bought a dinged 40293 Christmas Carousel for $14.99. I was glad to find this because I did not want to spend $99 to get this promo when it was out. The employee told me this is one of only seven stores in the U.S. that has sets like these and is where Lego puts their inventory when promotions are done. I know one of the other stores is the Arundel Mills location where I found several dinged boxes of 40223 Snowglobes last year. I had to leave four of the shelf as my family where passing through while on vacation, and my wife apparently is opposed to the idea of carrying Lego on her lap.1 point

BrickLink has never had any products, let alone manufactured any products. So they are learning as they go. And they learned real fast that hand-packing sets is extremely labor intensive. They are also being super cautious about not making errors, so double checking counts and the bag QA process slows them down, but that's a good thing. They've finally gotten into a groove, and they have opened 2nd and 3rd shifts to accelerate the overall velocity. It's quite an interesting experiment.1 point

I don't want to call you a liar, but it just seems unlikely that a stunt coordinator could show up with his neighbor, eight months before the movie comes out, and show them the current state of the film.1 point
