  3. Arrived last week, verified it was complete minus a couple figures. Very surprised I was the only bidder. Shall pair well with the Saturn V.

  4. I really don't need any "emotionally draining and psychologically heavy, but in an artsy way" movies in my life. I have enough drama real time.

  5. I know its not really a modular and you didn't even have it on list, but... Old fishing store is such a great showpiece i'd want pick it for my list of" only room for four". GG seams a unanimous pick. The bank has a really nice understated but fancy look, not too busy with the details. the Corner garage suppose would be 4. They may not look the best together but they all are very unique. or downtown diner. maybe DO. My city is FULL also:) Kind of a Nice problem to have. Seams like The number of corner buildings makes it little harder to display on shelving.

  6. I think it is more cost cutting than anything else. The primary colored bricks/tiles are most likely 0.00000001% cheaper to produce than the other colors

  7. New message from: (104) Hi! I was wondering if you would accept $80 for the item? I have unpaid items recorded in the last 2 months for the seller being overseas for childseat I bid and had to cancel the purchase. Thank you. Hmmm, Can't purchase from me because of the number of unpaid strikes so reaches out and asks for a 20% discount. In the words of Darryl Kerrigan "Tell him he's dreaming son". Looked into his feedback - 100% positive - the comments though - full of negativity. Another user ID for the BBL.

  8. I just don´t think you can disregard the monetary value. I´d keep the 4 turdiest sets in terms of residuals (Pet Shop, Palace, Parisian and Diner) and put the money from the other sets towards the kids´ college education (reference to the Beanie Baby Guy). By coincidence two of them seem to be the most praised designs and Pet Shop is always good for chopping and changing the flats. Palace makes a good corner building too. You can remind them down the line how those sets they tore up so readily were good for something.

  9. Updated terms of sale going into each ebay post: "If you decide to cancel a sale after payment, or elect to return an item, 2.9% of the sale price will be withheld to cover Paypal transaction fees, which are nonrefundable and really, not my *&%%ing problem, but I'm certain you'll see fit to make it my problem, that's why this run-on sentence has been left in 50 pt font, bolded, and colored crimson, so that when you call eBay and complain the underpaid rep from India will be able to easily see that it is indeed unlikely that you were unaware of my policy."

  10. Wouldn't it be better just to dismantle and store them? You might regret selling them, and you can always get rid of them later on.

  13. Meh. I have 0 interest in Joker's origin movie. His background is fine as a 10 minutes arc in a Batman movie, but I do not want to invest 2 hours for a complete story. No way. For that distinction they should have recast Joker as a black woman

  15. Random picture I found on the internet of it. Looks to be a basic brick built model. All the value looks to be in the certificate, as there look to be no unique bricks in the model. There are people who will pay ridiculous amounts for that certificate. "There are only 32 of these figures in the world! Each figure is 30 cm high by 18 cm wide, built out of LEGO bricks and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity."

  19. My guess is that it's easier to build when you have a contrast in color.
