  1. Moc I'm working on with the new hall of armor set(s). In progress, still not happy with the angles and getting the arc right but only on day 1. Sent from my SM-G960U using Brickpicker Forum mobile app

  2. My guess is that it's easier to build when you have a contrast in color.

  4. I have 2 boys enrolled in this school and my husband graduated from here as well. My sons have grown and learned so much from everyone at the school. They have seen so much generosity not only from this group and Ed’s fundraising abilities but from all who have supported their education. This year they decided they wanted to give back to the school that has done so much for them. Thank you for helping keep their school growing and showing them such great support.

  9. ....That looks like the 1960s Batman helicopter with flick missiles replacing the batwings at the sides and in The Riddler's colors. So many helicopters, maybe they're all just blurring together at this point.

  11. Sometimes I worry that buyers are starting to think that rare expensive LEGO are actually just worthless pieces of plastic. And I have an awful lot of plastic.

  12. I think it is more cost cutting than anything else. The primary colored bricks/tiles are most likely 0.00000001% cheaper to produce than the other colors

  15. This community is amazing! The whole SPS family is so thankful for your support! Three of my children and my husband have graduated from SPS. I do have a 6th grader currently there and my mother in law is still a substitute teacher at St. Paul's . There's strong roots in SPS!

  16. Did they submit it as a merchant payment or personal transaction? No fees on the latter but no seller protection and to get a shipping label on PayPal you have to use the Ship Now tool: https://www.paypal.com/shipnow

  17. I had the pleasure of building an intricate LEGO Ideas model of Machu Picchu, built in the style of the official LEGO Architecture sets. The model was designed by Diego Baca, a proud Peruvian who wanted to help LEGO enthusiasts learn more about the globally recognized UNESCO World Heritage site. Not only did Diego build the model both digitally and using LEGO bricks, he also created a beautiful instruction manual in the style of official LEGO Architecture sets, and a matching glossy box. I had a lot of fun building the model using the easy-to-follow directions. The completed model is immediately recognizable, and looks great next to the official sets, especially the recent Great Wall set which also features historic architecture in a mountainous landscape. For an longer, in-depth review of the set and an interview with Diego about his project, you can read the whole article at: https://brickarchitect.com/2019/lego_ideas_machu-picchu-diego-baca/ If you want a chance to build it, be sure to vote for it on the LEGO Ideas site! Sincerely, —Tom

  20. Found the 30461 Podracer polybag at Target today on an endcap with all the 20th Anniversary Star Wars sets. All the previous Targets I have visited only had the Snowspeeder and Naboo Starfighter polys, must have been waiting for an April 1 set date. DPCI for all three: 30461 Podracer 204-00-4899 30384 Snowspeeder 204-00-4845 30383 Naboo Starfighter 204-00-0546

  23. How much of your life did you waste looking for that one? Seriously, I am right much more than I am wrong. Disney is a winner. Mickey is a winner.

  25. I think this set looks pretty cool and believe it will do just fine after EOL... there will always be rabid Disney fans who are also Lego fans. Sent from my SM-G960U1 using Brickpicker Forum mobile app

  26. Wow, such hate so far. I really like this set and Im not even a huge fan of Mickey Mouse. I do wish they would have included a Pete figure opposed to Minnie. Not day one, but I'll be getting this.
